Disgraceful comments in this day and age by one of the councillors in that report, saying Indian people at the festival will be 'hiding behind their language.' What the f**k does that even mean? Immigrant conspiracy, run for the hills!

Guess what, Councillor Redneck, they're also 'hiding' behind their funny lingo when they talk in their homes, making their smelly cooking and keeping the neighbors up all night with their pagan limbo dancing. Time to weed them out! Campbelltown council's not the only place they can live, there's plenty of other places! After all, this is Campbelltown, which is known for it's well-established population of...umm...Italian migrants. Derr.

Jesus H. Titty-f**king Christ. Something out of the 1950s (or from One Nation) (or both).

I replied to several comments on the "Adelaide now" duscussion and none of it was abusive or provocative. Every single one of my posts was deleted. But they allow the clearly racist dribble and fear mongering to be typed. Some of the stuff on that "discussion" is appalling and downright embarrassing.

The comments section of the Advertiser website is a scary place. Mind you, put all those people who have commented together in a room in the real world and you'll probably hear 10% of the crap that is published. Then again, the fact some people think they way they type, and vote, is especially scary.

Surely that warrants an A+ for effort. All jokes aside mate, no-obe deserves that, hopefully everything is okay and the student in question can get the help they need.

Special needs or no special needs - any kid that put the wellbeing and safety of other students in danger shouldn't be in a mainstream classroom.

Dont kids get suspended anymore?

Judging by the lack of chairs and desks, that looks like a designated special needs classroom.

Sad thing is that not much will be done. From experience some schools actually will turn a blind eye to these incidents because schools get extra funding to have " extra needs kids" enrolled at the school and to ban them or send them away decreases the cash flow

I work in a special school, so these sensory meltdowns are common and expected part of the job, just not much fun when they happen

Yep that's what I hear, more funding for ESO's so they take on as many as they like.

The amount of suspensions given out at a school is heavily scrutinised by the department, so that and the amount of extra work doing a suspension is on leadership are two reasons why schools are not always wanting to give them out
