I dunno, perhaps not allow people who we have identified as a possible risk own a gun....or 6....
So any farmer aswell? Who qualifies as a potential risk without it being racist? Marty Bryant, Dezi Freeman, Gareth Train, I don't disagree with you I just don't know how they can police that now the horse has left the paddock.
FWIW, I don't think anyone capable of performing such an act would care if they had a gun licence or not, anyone can get hold of a gun..........or 6.
Farmers live on farms and need guns,
A palestinian living in a Sydney suburb doesn't need ANY guns!
That's a MASSIVE alert!!

Unfortunately there are always going to be loonies, whether they are 5th generation Aussies, recent or descendants of immigrants, identify as religious or not.
I own 30 odd knives and my parents born overseas, should I have a dossier as well?
Do we want a Gestapo or KGB here?
ASIO just need to read your posts on here to know you’re a loonie!

I know several people that live in suburban Adelaide and are involved in gun clubs.am Bays wrote:CENTURION wrote:Farmers live on farms and need guns,

As I said before there are over 4 million guns registered legally in Australia and I’d think many of them are by people in suburbia.
I guess we can argue the merits of allowing so many and definitely should be tightening rules so that people don’t own multiple weapons

Very naive to think this won't be a common first thought across the country given the circumstances.

Is this his fault? Probably not, but come out and show some anger, heart and say what people are feeling.
He wants to play all sides, which is politics, I get it...but at times like this please give something more...
Hes no leader

My views:
Dutchy's comment - I think Albo has shown the type of leadership needed in the initial stages. The job of a leader in these times is to unite, rather than to divide. He clearly understands the anger.
MT79's comment - I'm not a massive fan of Albo but I think your comment is pretty pathetic, really. I mean, at least set out some concrete steps that you think he should be taking.
