At the moment the state is effectively run by the police commissioner and Nicola spurrier. If this isn’t extended then it goes back to Marshall and co and what I expect some more easing of restrictions
I believe cabinet has sent a request to the Governor to extend it by another 28 days

Mate, I'm getting in my car this afternoon and driving until I stop, I don't give a toss where I end up!

How does a car drive a car and why doesn't the car just drive itself...?

I think Tickera sounds ideal.

Andrews telling people if they're working from home they must, not should, they must keep doing so or they'll potentially be fined.

What a win for all the people doing f*ck all for the half the day on full pay.

I actually am finding the opposite.

I come downstairs at 7.00am, turn on my PC, make the Mrs a coffee, and sit down and start working. Hardly a lunch break, and often still going at 6.00pm. Most times, I leave the PC on & answer e-mails until 8.00pm or so before switching it off.

I can't wait to go back to the office, its a doddle!

I don't, it was a very interesting time on here to say the least.

Was before my time. What did it entail?

Make jokes about other posters in private. Allude to them in public. Snigger and giggle in private about the public posts.

Oh, and lots of mods left the mods team, lots of good posters left the site, lots of AH lounge members left.

Unmitigated disaster, particularly given the current general feel on this site regarding looking out for the welfare of others and accepting of each others vulnerabilities, was the polar opposite to that mindset.

Sounds like fun

Is that where redandblack went?

Agree with you watching the missus, she's working harder, longer hours with less breaks than she did when in the office.
I know if when I was in the government I would have worked better from home and would have worked harder to ensure it worked. Most programmers and project managers I dealt with were in the ACT anyway so communication wouldn't have been any different.

Sums up my experience WFH, towards the end was putting in 10-12 hour days. Back to it now though.

I am the same with WFH, but I usually always make a point of having a break during the day to get outside and mow the lawn, fertilise the lawn, spray herbicide/fungicide/insecticide on the lawn or just stare at the lawn.
