Claimed my partner told him how much concrete we needed. She would have no idea and never said it, no emails claiming the amount we apparently told him, even though we sent him the plans. Said if I didn't pay him, he will remove the amount of concrete he went over, from somewhere. I told him to go away and I don't want to see him again.
I'll be sending the him a bill for unfinished work, Such as concrete on windows and brickwork and unsealed bits of pebbled concrete along fence line and painting of poles on fence. Got a feeling it will be roughly about what he thinks I owe him.

Yeah, I know. But the cops don't make the laws. How many things do you have to do at work that you think are crappy, but you do them anyway because thats whats expected of you?

That the thing that annoys me. How many times is it let go only for 1 person to get pinged once in a blue moon.

that's what I thought, but according to the email I received they do not.
*Scratch that. My email went through to the Edwardstown store and they don't do it. I have just emailed Grefell Street.

Does anyone know what it costs for the motorbike license course these days? I did it in 2009, but failed on the last test.

I think it was about $300 then. I can't find any pricing on the site, and I can't be bothered calling Service SA.

Cops do have some discretionary authority, but are under pressure to prove they are not loafing when out and about by reaching an "average" level of citations per day, even if there is no actual "quota". So, it is a matter of luck whether you are the one of several people doing the same thing who gets pinged.

And of course even in Shakespeare's day it was well recognised that some laws were trivial or wrong, and "..more honoured in the breach than the observance."
