Yeah $75 gets you a ticket, meal and all you can drink during the game. All in the best seats in the house. I reckon I'll have to do it at some point this season.

Heres something for debate...

A mate of mine just piped up on FB having a crack at channel 9 for still showing A View to a Kill despite it showing the climbing of the eifell tower and someone shooting up all of Paris. He was saying the movie shouldve been replaced with something else given todays events.

Clearly the programming for this was done at least a week or two ago.

We can probably all agree its just bad timing but should something else have really been programmed?

I don't think it's a problem. The Eiffel Tower scene is only a small part of the film, and really shares nothing in common with today's horrible events apart from being in the same city. I don't recall the Eiffel Tower being one of today's targets, and it was hardly being 'shot up'. IMO it needs to be more than a location coincidence to be taken off the air.

Would it be inappropriate to show a New York film like "Annie Hall" or "Manhattan" in the 9-11 aftermath? I don't think so.

The only offensive thing is the film itself. Arguably the worst Bond film (despite having a cool theme song by Duran Duran!).
