I just simply can’t fathom this.

Me too, I'm curious as to what their husbands drink.

PS I may or may not have been known to have a vodka and lemonade late at night but I can't confirm or deny those rumours due to being inebriated at the time. ;)

Did you sit down to p*ss whilst drinking it?

Probably, I was too drunk to stand.
I may have been laying in my own vomit too.

When I'm done on beer for a day or night CC/Jacks and dry the way to go, agreed. Can't do coke mixes anymore, that's where my hangover is.

Yep, the cola makes me all gluggy, fresh as a daisy on the soda water, never thought I'd like it.

Hitting red season now though, Sunday roast, twilight game on with a few quiet reds, my favourite time of year.

How much and where?

I find the CC premixes give me a toothache the next day, even by only having a few.

Try using a bottle opener next time ;)

Bad experience on the Southern Comfort in my formative years, cannot touch it now unfortunately.

Come to think of it, orange juice and alcohol has not been kind to me over the years full stop when mixed together.

I have the same problem with Vodka and Orange. Got so drunk off it I fell asleep in the loo in the pub. Woke the landlord up when I fell off the pot and banged the door and he thought he was being burgled.

I only lived up the street so he took me home, left me lying on the hall floor and bunged the key in. I woke up next morning lying in a pile of puke with my old man bawling at me for throwing up on the carpet. The usual “when you own your own house you can do what you like, but whilst you are living under my roof.......... “, you know how it goes. I was only 16 or maybe 17 at the time. Never been able to face Vodka since, not much of a fan of Orange Juice either come to think of it.

Yep, we had the premix "Nikov" casks, $10 for 4 litres of vodka and premix, you'd go from being fine to a puking mess instantly, I went to a friends house 4 days later on a hot day and ran outside to throw up because I could smell citrus.

More of the "erotic" writing style, thought I was reading a Mills and Boon.

Im drinking less beer these days and more spirits, always starts with beers though. Scotch is the only spirit that gives me hangovers and shocking one's. In fact we still have 3 unopened bottles of Johnie Red in our shed from my wife's 40th 7 years ago.

Southern Comfort is making a comeback I see, all the lads at the footy club were into them last Sat night.
