In the course of my childhood, they went from those ones, with the red tip, to "Fads" with no red tip.

Them changing their packaging didn't stop me being a pack a day fake smoker.

They should of put a picture of a diabetic with an amputated foot on the pack.

About 2 hours from breathalyser to blood test
Had 5 pints over 3 hour period

As a general rule

1 schooner = 1 standard drink (full strength beer)
five pints = 7.5 standard drinks, 1 pint = 1.5 schooners (285 ml to 425 ml)

For the average person with normal Microsomal Ethanol Oxiders in your Liver - the stuff that breaks down alcohol in your body, it breaks down alcohol at the approximate rate of one standrd drink an hour.

2 standard drinks gets you to 0.05 in an hour, one standard drink per hour until you stop drinking keeps you there.

So if it is 5.5 hours from when you started drinking until your blood tests that allows for ~ six standard drinks to keep you at point 0.05
(2 for hour one and 4 for hours 2-5.5)

That last pint may have you in a bit of trouble but I'm surprised you only blew 0.055 3.5 hours afer you started

However if you were drinking mid strength beer 1 Pint = 1 Standard drink
