Wonder if all staff at Airport dealing with international flights in future will have to undergo regular testing. At the moment they just take temperature.

Im guessing staff at medivac hotels may have only had temperature taken if that...

Bloody Lockdown has got me all a fluster...

Forgot it was bin day today, had to go tearing down the street in my work at home attire (boxers) to get him to come back and empty my bin...

He looked at me and said, just put it on the other side of the street and he'd do it on the way back...

I had to do a walk of shame back home...

Bloody lockdown... :D

I’m still surprised there hasn’t been a major breakout from an airport.
They literally disembark in whatever they are wearing and touch plenty of surfaces along the way. Surely only a matter of time before a cleaner misses a small patch

So restrictions have had a slight re-jig on the last hour or so and hardware stores and pet stores are now allowed to open and a couple of changes to reasons for leaving home

Not far off the mark - Canberra guidelines are deliberately high level to allow for local application based on that jurisdictions situation. its one of the reasons why NT went early with allowing border travel as with our low population it was an opportunity to see how interstate travel from non hot spot areas would work.

Its also due to the fact hat there are variations in the COVID and based on current information this is largely limited to the Northern suburbs and one particular cohort of people. Therefore as I've said previously the six days is to: 1. minimise community interactions to prevent transmission, 2) allow for testing results from Sun-Tue to be processed to determine how wide spread this is (update information in first line of this paragraph) 3, allow for contact tracers to do this job on current confirmed tests.

LAst thng you want is a hybrid restriction that still allows community contacts and next thing this out and about for months.

Everybody is hopefull that this is a six day thing not a two week plus thing.

Are we allowed to walk to local supermarket? Or must we drive?

If walking is your only mode of transport, you can walk

What if you live across the road from it?

My local supermarket is a 5 minute walk away. When the dunny paper runs out, I'll be walking to the shop.

Sadly, the bottleo is a little further away.

What if you have a car but you're drunk, and you're heading there to buy a mask?

How does it work if you are the car? Is a car keeping a car akin to slavery? Lockdown questions that need to be answered
