I had the Porterhouse Kilpatrick and it was superb.

All 12 meals good positive reviews.

The BB&B had been crap for the last couple of years, but it has improved markedly this year. Thumbs up from me. About the only part of the club headed in the right direction ...

The Curious Squire, went there before going to the soccer tonight, I highly recommend it. Very, very nice bugers absolutely loved mine.

Very nice setup they've got there, nice place to have dinner and drinks at. You can purchase a 'Paddle' of James Squire beers to taste test and you can get a schooner of your favourite for free, that was pretty cool. Me and 3 mates got the paddle and on them we had James Squire beers- Sundown, One Fifty Lashes, Nine Tales (my personal favourite), Hop Thief, Jack of Spades and Four Wives.

The Curious Squire is definitely a place I'd go back to!

Do the Indians still own 127? Used to go in there all the time when it was Con & Poppys, they were great people.

For Italian my favorite is La Trattoria on King William St in town.

Yes, La Tratt is pretty good.
Beijing in Angas St is good too - not flashy, but the food is good - and they have a good wine list.

No these guys took over from Con & Poppys a few months ago. Totally refurbished and pretty trendy now. It does seem a bit out of place in that complex made up of almost exclusively asian shops. I highly recommend their burgers. Best chips in Adelaide and they stock Dr Pepper cans, which pretty much seals the deal for me.

Might have to try there again, Once the Indians took over from C&P they ran the place down so far.

We used our Avoca Htl Entertainment Book voucher on Sat night and was quite impressed by the food and service. Not obviously top notch food but for the price the quality was pretty good.

Ate in the restuarant as opoosed to their Bistro and outdooe dining area (same menu though). Would recommend it for a good family feed and save the missus from cooking and wash up duties for a night. 8)
