Best wishes to your mate for a full recovery Saintal.

The last 5 days has definitely been a case of seeing the best come out in most of the community but also has proven what a bunch of whinging keyboard warriors a lot of South Australians really are.

I also have a new appreciation of the ABC.
Don't play games with a girl who can play 'em better...

Much of the wildlife is native and evolved in fire-prone ecosystems. A lot would have 'got out' long before we ever did.

Same applies to the vegetation. The native species require fire to regenerate. I guess one positive is that the fire will have wiped out many exotic weeds and once the winter rains have passed, spring will bring us back a young and predominantly native ecosystem that will be scenic in it's own way.

I think the regeneration of the forest will be quite spectacular. Definitely worth a hike in Spring.
