I like the elephant just off Rundle St, usually have good cover bands upstairs playing 80s (I'm always amazed at how all the 20yos know all the words there) and pretty good drink specials.

The 20 year olds grew up listening to their parents playing it!

Anywhere on Leigh peel or bank street goes alright if you just want a small bar to have a quiet drink.
I really like la rambla, a Spanish joint with a cool bar and good food

Yeah, I don't really care where we go but the missus doesn't wanna go where there's drunks staggering around spilling drinks on her telling her they know her from somewhere.
We'll stop at a few places until we find the one that plays our music and has a good relaxed atmosphere.

Great meals but the buck stops about there, we won't even have pre-drinks there, unfortunately I have an "appointment" in the city this afternoon and have to leave work early.
Good start to the day waking up to find an extra $900 dumped into my bank account without knowing beforehand.
