When I was 17, it was a very good year....

Just carrying on from the shits thread where it appears that everyone is so angry now compared to 10, 20 or 30 years ago...
Lets face it, none of us were probably angels.
Me the private school kid, used to prefer knocking about with the local kids for the best part. We'd go down to the local park with a bottle of mississipi moonshine and beers for the blokes and have all manner of fun.
You may remember a young up and coming kid who played for the Roosters by the name of Andrew Savage. One night it was a bit rainy so I brought an umbrella with me, he decided it would be fun to play Mary Poppins, so he climbed up to the top of the slippery dip, opened up my umbrella and jumped off.
He landed awkardly and said he reckons he hurt his ankle. Anyway, come curfew time, he walked home from the park.
Next day, he was in hospital - he'd walked 1.5km home with a broken leg
the boys crawled under the o-bahn track rails whilst the buses went over them - but we never harmed anyone, we didn't graffiti or anything and never encountered problems. Hell, we even piled 9 people into a little renault once and drove at stupid speeds down a really steep hill and hit a log at the bottom. in hindsight we were probably lucky no one was hurt but it seemed like harmless fun at the time.
What did you get up to at 17?
