I do think the workers should be registered and checked on a regular basis.

Add in improved safety conditions for the girls and I completely agree. Understand it's a divisive topic, but have always worried about what could happen to innocent members of the public if some freak can't get their release.

Exactly, what I was trying to get at, there's a lot of shit that goes on that we hear very little of, in particular the eastern states, all of these cases are from independent escorts that work from their apartments etc.

It's obviously not something you'd want a family member to engage in but it is the oldest profession in the world apparently and you'd rather it be regulated, even so that convicted sex offenders could be recognised and refused.

What they are trying to decriminalise is the associated offences, brothels, soliciting in public places, living off anothers earnings etc.

A paid for sex act in a private place that was not solicited in public is legal.
