I was tested yesterday at the Gawler walk through testing site. In and out in under 2 hours.

Higher risk with these walk through sites, obviously, but be ****ed if I was to be sitting in a car all day.

I feel like the Jase family is in the centre of an ever decreasing circle...

The Village (it shall never been know and the Grove) shopping centre
Fairview Park
Surrey Downs...

If it gets to Garden Grove, then it's pretty much over the back fence...

So far we have missed any exposure sites but they are getting closer...

Got my first vaccine jab yesterday, feel a tad groggy tad and a bit crook in the gut. Nothing to crazy though.

Sadly I was reading the US and UK are up there for being the most vaccinated countries yet are topping the table for most deaths per day. Not sure whether to believe that or not

Tbh even being vaccinated I’m not really seeing an end in site to this. I feel deeply for those elderly living late in life, this is no way to live at all, imagine passing away from natural cause and this has been your life for the last 1.5 years.

Ditto. Between the Village, Clovercrest and other sites around Modbury, it's VERY close to us (less than 500m). However, as I've said to my kids (one of them is VERY worried about us having Covid), even if we did have it, we aren't 'sick', and we're unlikely to be 'sick' (hospitalised) but this is about protecting vulnerable people in our street, our older friends and family. Hence we got tested, so if the 7 day lockdown ends, we can return to the community as per normal.

My kids are also worried about the footy season not getting going again. It's just another reason I'm advising them to do the right thing.
