What does it achieve to send some back 2 weeks after the 1st lot?
Makes zero sense as they’ll all end up at school anyway.
I’ll have 1 at school and 1 back 2 weeks later.
**** hooray!
Exactly the same. It’s f**king stupid. Both girls going to the inlaws farm till they’re both back at school
Working in the field I have been expecting there would be some disruption when we went back, however, I wasn't expecting it to impact the high schools in the same way as primary schools. I thought high schools would return as normal and primary schools to have the delayed start except for reception students. In my site we have Reception / Year 1 classes so having the year 1's probably makes sense for getting the receptions into the swing of things and building connections but for schools with year 1/2 classes what happens there?
It's going to be a very interesting month coming up, different to the 3 lockdown times because they were during the term and moving to online learning was a bit easier as the kids were familiar with their teacher and what they needed to do.
I think there would have been many parents, especially in primary schools, contemplating keeping their kids home until they could get a vaccination based on the comments I have seen on various social media pages, but how long would they have done that for, one vax? double?
What will the 2 weeks do though? I don't think we will know until those 2 weeks are up.
