In Melbourne, restrictions eased in regional Victoria. And some kids can go to school. A gift from SA. :-(

Yeah it's not good. Poorly done by SA Health and terribly handled by Vic Heath.

Let's be clear, it's not a contest on who can **** up the worst.

It has been revealed that the person suspected of giving COVID-19 to the man at the centre of Victoria’s outbreak was sharing a room with an infected person who was moved to a dedicated facility, Tom's Court Hotel, for coronavirus patients.

SA Health authorities said the person was a "friend" and was not deemed high-risk enough to also be transferred to the dedicated facility.
Yeah, pretty much. Has been well known for a while that is the case.
All genomically linked but the Vics aren’t sure how Case 0 passed it to Case 5. Case 5 is the bloke who was running around everywhere in Victoria for 2 weeks despite having symptoms

So.............. two people in a room.
One has it so gets moved to Toms
The other gets tested and nothing so gets released?
Sorry, I'm lost. I though it transferred between rooms. Is it now established that they were sharing a room?

I think it still did (transfer between rooms).

The guy who got moved to toms court (bloke 1), was sharing a room (bloke 2).
Bloke 1 had it, got moved to TC.
Bloke 2, didn't test positive, so remained in normal hotel quarantine.

Bloke 2 then gave it to old mate Victorian in the room next door. OMV then went home and is what they are calling case 0. Passed it on to a few including Case 5, who has since given it to everyone.

-------

For mine the delay in getting it, before testing positive (ie: bloke 2) is half the issue with this entire process.
We list these exposure sites, people go and get tested straight away, get the negative and think they are all clear, then go and spread it everywhere thinking "I've been tested and don't have it". They ignore the headache and runny nose with this false sense of security cause they had a test too early.

It's safe for Collingwood to come in.

But, if you're going to the game duck and get out of the way of the ball and don't touch it.

F*ck me, making it hard to keep arguing with daisy.

Yes, was mentioned yesterday that a positive case from Victoria went camping in NSW with his family despite having symptoms for 10 days. His wife and kids now have it and his family make up 4 of the 6 cases in Victoria today. Obviously some exposure sites in NSW

I actually agree its safe for Collingwood to come in.
Not only will they be some of the most highly tested people in the country, and they would be doing the majority of the 'right things' to ensure they aren't getting exposed, they will also be kept in isolation away from the general SA population fairly well.
For mine the only real risk is they pass it onto a crows player, which would be picked up fairly quickly if they do.

There is a very low chance of a Collingwood player bringing it in and passing it onto the wider south Australian population.

They do lose a lot of credibility when they say duck the ball if it comes into the crowd though! haha

Reminds me of the grim reaper ad in the 80’s.

So if we were really in a pandemic would the government need to absolutely drown the tv in adverts urging people to get vaxed, i think not.

Now lets for a moment consider if they found a cure for cancer, do you think they would be handing that out for free? Would they give you a doughnut to take it, would they enter you into some sort of lottery for taking it. Not on your life would there be any chance of that happening.
Makes you wonder why they are so keen for you to get jabbed doesnt it, they are overplaying their hand enormously here.

210 deaths in Australia now attributed to the vax, how many have died from covid? I dont think there has been a death in Australia from covid for over 6 months.

Spurrier is way out of her depth, as for the nuffies saying Collingwood shouldnt come here, they dont understand that the game will just be played elsewhere with just as much risk as if its played here.

On an unrelated note, there is a syphilis outbreak that has now reached SA. The health advice of not touching the ball if it is coming towards you also applies here.
