Seems the majority of South Australian's are part of this cancel culture of being outraged at anything that doesn't fit in our bubble!

What do they expect? Of course a premier is expected to think his own state is better than all others.
The Victorian premier's comments were taken out of context weren't they? He was promoting his own state in the first instance whilst also trying to deflect attention away from the failings of his government in other areas.

Agreed!

Yet the general south Australian population jumped straight to outrage and Facebook and twitter lit up with people calling him all sorts of names.

These days it seems everyone is just waiting for opportunities to absorb the role of the victim and be offended by anyone and anything.

South Australians as a general rule have a chip on their shoulder about anything Victorian

I thought it was a good laugh and couldn't believe the people getting agro about it lol
So you've seen everything have you?
Yep
Have you ever seen a man eat his own head?
No
Well you haven't seen everything then have you.

I really think we all need to take a chill pill.

Our angst is heightened and we seem to be looking on the first person to talk/write/comment on something with anything conjecture-ous (word?).

Maybe we need to go on a short holiday interstate (Victoria perhaps)?

Probably more to do with they think we're like Canadians.

I reckon the real heat generated through Teddy Whitten's passion about the State of Origin football, it seemed to hit a nerve.

I couldn't really give a toss, everyone should bag each other equally and unite when it matters.

FWIW, I know I'd prefer to live in SA opposed to Victoria, I do plan on moving to Queensland in 3 years time though, it's been in the pipe dream for the last few years, just gotta wait for my youngest to turn 18.

When I moved to Melbourne in January 1999, I took a certain delight in stirring the pot by frequently mentioning the Crows to all those Hawthorn and Carlton supporters I was working with in South Melbourne. (Good thing I came back here in January 2009.)

I've also frequently kidded my eastern acquaintances about a scheme to build a moat around NSW and Victoria then cast them adrift. It goes over well when I'm in WA and Qld too.

Sydney's the only place I couldn't live. I love Melbourne's live band scene and their sports but the missus can't stand the place, always comments on how dirty the place is, so I doubt I'll ever get there.
I remember saying 40 years ago that Adelaide would be one of the last places I'd visit but would always be my first choice to live and bring up a family and haven't changed my opinion.

Could happily live in Sydney or Melbourne but only if the money made it worth it.
The blokes in Sydney and Melbourne doing a similar role to me get paid bugger all more than what I can get here and yet their cost of living is far higher.
If you are lucky enough to have a decent job SA is actually a pretty good place to live in
