Absolutely it is for me!!!
had a 79 last week up there.
Was a bit busier out there today but still went round in just under 3hrs.

$400 membership.
That is highly appealing even though it is a 40min drive up through meadows

Play in a group of 4 today at Links lady bay Stableford as our handicaps were 14,18,28 and 36 so stroke play would've been a waste of time, I'm off 18 but at Links I'm off 23 with the slope rating and wow did I need everyone one of them!

Windy as anything, Tough Pin positions and seriously hard greens!

Ended up with 32 points on a very tough day. For the record the bloke off 14 won with 39Points he scored at least 1 point on every hole. Fair effort

Lady Bay is the hardest course rating in the state I think....

Just went out for 9 at penfield, first round in 4 months and only the second since May. Ended up with 50 including a par at the 9th that lipped out for birdie so I'm pretty happy considering.

Love penfield, probably the best 9 hole course going around (maybe second to Kapunda)

Fair effort. Went around Joondalup Quarry 9 in 48. Tough, tough layout as I thought I played very well and it still found a way to drag you back.

i've played one round in the past 12 weeks which was 2 weekends ago at Belair. If I didn't hate not playing so much I'd do it all the time. Come home with an 87 off the stick and that was with leaving about 4 shots on 2 of the par 3's. Thankfully I am out again a few times between now and heading back to work next year, starting Monday with a walk around The Vines.

Anyone know what condition it's in?

it was in quite good knick actually. a few bare patches, but nothing that really affected the fairway/ green etc.

i'll go back there for another hit if i get the time that's for sure.

it may be a different story if it dries out with a bit of heat (if summer ever comes). but at the moment i'd say it's still going ok.

yeah, when Belair dries out, you can use your putter on every shot!

Played blackwood today. Tidy course.

Highlight was watching some flog in gay John Daly pants spend half an hour stretching before his tee off, and then hit a square drive over point.

Nearly wasted a good beer laughing at that.

I signed up as a member at Blackwood a few weeks ago now. I think the 13th is my favorite hole. But that's probably because its one of the easiest holes! :D (260m Par 4)

Played at Echunga yesterday and prefer not to talk about scores. Very nice course but and will be back.

Reckon ill get some mates at the end of the month and do a Riverland/Sunraysia tour. Do Waikerie, Renmark, Coomealla and Mildura around Australia Day.

Played 9 holes at penfield today, and went pretty well. Hit the ball very well for me, but putting let me down again, hit a 47.

The highlight though was a 20ish+ metre putt on the 9th (pin was right at the front and i was basically on the back fringe) that i holed to win, longest putt i have ever holed by a fair margin
