The 36ers Josh Giddey has officially nominated for the NBA Draft where he is expected to be a lottery pick and possibly even go in the Top 10 picks. The 6'8" PG is currently averaging 11ppg, 7rpg and leading the NBL in assists at 7.4apg.

Also today the New Orleans Pelicans officially signed former NBL Next Star Didi Louzada to a multi-year deal. The 6'5" Brazilian guard averaged 10.3ppg, 3.8rpg and 1.8apg in his 43 games with the Sydney Kings over the past two seasons.

The rumour came out over the weekend and tonight was confirmed the Illawarra Hawks have released their big off-season signing Deng Adel.

The Hawks beat the Breakers down in Tassie tonight 75-67 with Tyler Harvey scoring 29 points.

Brisbane Bullets coach Andrej Lemanis has announced he will be leaving the team at the end of the season reportedly to take up an opportunity coaching in Japan. He coached the Boomers at the 2016 Olympic Games and the 2014 & 2019 World Cup's and won three consecutive NBL championships as coach of the NZ Breakers in 2011-13 along with two NBL coach of the year awards in 2012 & 2013.

Also today the Sydney Kings announced they've signed veteran PG Jarrad Weeks as an injury replacement player for the rest of the season. He was recently released by the NZ Breakers and returns to the Kings where he started his NBL career in 2010.

Hasn't done much in his 4.5 years coaching the Bullets but one of only two coaches in NBL history to coach a three-peat.

Big signing the Perth Wildcats have confirmed they've signed Will Magnay for the rest of the season. The 6'10" F/C won the NBL Most Improved player of the year award with the Brisbane Bullets last season and most recently played for the New Orleans Pelicans in the NBA.

Currently in hotel quarantine in Sydney he will be in uniform for Perth in Sunday's home game against the Breakers.

Melbourne United have announced the signing of veteran centre David Andersen as an injury replacement player for Jack White who is out for the rest of the season. Andersen played for the Illawarra Hawks last season and won a championship with United in 2018.
