OMG...Italy 22 - 21 France

Italy played an absolute blinder and took the lead in the 75 minute....fantastic game...way to go Azzurri :D

Very emotional watching a teary eyed Nick Mallett (their Bok coach) being interviewed. Possibly Italy's greatest win.

Wales 19 - 13 Ireland

Cheating bloody Shaggers    don't think I've ever been so angry watching a rugby game.

How the BBC live text described what happened...btw the throw in and Phillips were at least 10 yards up the pitch from where the ball went into touch...

51 mins: Wales 16-13 Ireland Controversy. Sexton smacks the ball out on the full, giving Wales a line-out just in the Irish half. Wales take a very quick throw while Ireland are yet to form their line and Mike Phillips has an unchallenged run in for the try. Ireland's players are fuming because Wales did not use the same ball that was booted out by Sexton for the quick line-out. Kaplan asks his touch judge: 'Was it the same ball?". "Yes," is the reply from Peter Allan. He's got that wrong I'm afraid. Hook gets the extras.

58 mins: Just seen a replay of the line-out and Jonathan Davies brings up the rule that governs this situation. "For a quick line-out, you must use the same ball that was kicked into touch," says Jiffy. "So therefore, that was not a try."

The only upsides in the game...O'Driscoll got a try to become equal highest try scorer in the 5/6 Nations (24 tries equal with Ian smith of Scotland) and O'Gara got his 1000th point in test rugby so congrats to both.

I need a ******* drink

Within minutes of the game finishing the phone started ringing with mates who were in as much disbelief as I was after seeing it.

GET IN \:D/

Ireland....24 - 8.....England
..............(17 - 3)
Tries:.....................Tries:
Bowe, O'Driscoll......Thompson

Penalties:...............Penalties:
Sexton 4..................Flood

Conversions:
Sexton

Took England 30 minutes to get on the board.

O’Driscoll finally gets his record breaking 25th 5/6 Nations try on the second attempt after his first was disallowed because of a debatable forward pass. The record of 24 tries had been held by Ian Smith of Scotland since 1933.

Why oh why couldn’t we have played like this in the other games.
