- Picked the Oilers as the "new" name of the team. EA have made all the old uniforms and logos, etc so you can bring the Oilers back.
- Played the first 2 regular season games. Lost a close one to the Steelers and beat the Texans by a FG.
When I get home Ill be scouting the **** out of some O and D line players, coz the Titans have **** all in that department.
About halfway through my first season with the Houston Oilers (nee Tennessee Titans) on Madden 25. Finished the last season as the Titans with a lose to Kansas City in the Conference game (see post before where I cracked the shits)
Got most of my players resigned, then upgraded them once the better ones were on 5 year contracts. This way I signed them cheap then boosted their stats. Use my LE off the snap on defense, and have made him from an average player to a JJ Watt calibre player. (He holds the NFL sacks in a season record after my first season)
Recruited well in the offseason and boosted my defense as well. Let Manziel walk out via Free Agency coz he wanted too much money, and just stuck with my young QB Tyler Wilson, who is rated low, but is actually pretty good. Have Jake Locker as a handy backup.
Traded my backup Center, a 1st Round Pick and a 4th Round pick to Chicago for the 2nd overall pick in the upcoming Draft. That pick will be used on a gun RE, which hopefully make the opposition pocket collapse on nearly every play next season, and compliment my No 1 rush defense with a better pass defense too.
I have about $35 million left in my salary cap with all of the important players signed up for the next 3-5 seasons, and a good up and coming QB getting better every week.
This could be a DYNASTY!!
