Volume on laptops

Postby RustyCage » Sun Nov 06, 2011 6:12 pm

Just wondering if anyone knows a solution to this....

None of the laptops we have in our house play music as loud as they used to. All the volumes are turned up, still using all the same software, but it's at least half the volume.
I'm gonna break my rusty cage and run

these are awesome they charge through usb and 3.5mm audio jack so you charge and play at the same time.

Speakers possibly do deteriorate with time depending on their construction, but tiny speakers are limited in the quality of sound anyway - even though better now than they used to be.
As a sound quality enthusiast, I rarely play music on computers - even using the plug ins I have with 125mm diameter speakers.

My sound system in the living room has eight 250mm bass speakers, and ten 125mm mid and upper end ones, in a pair of rather large enclosures.
