Within reason I do not really care what my Telstra bill is per month (mobile, iPad, wireless Internet, landline/fax) because it is 80% or more tax deductible anyway. I've always been wary about going to a cut price supplier or provider because if you get an issue where do you go? Telstra peeps might speak Filipino English but at least they do the job

Depends, if you're happy paying double the price for less then its up to you. Check out the forums at whirlpool, all the geeks rave about Kogan, if I had my time again I would definitely have gone for it.
If moneys no object then enjoy the 4g :)

having a look at the map it looks like you get good coverage out there. in the CBD it heads out south to morphettville and north is pretty much kilburn directly across to west beach.

They're fine, check out the whirlpool forums where you'll actually encounter people with intelligence for details than a site like that. All it is is Telstras 3g service at half the price.

well everyone knows what telstra customer service is like, so i'm guessing theirs is pretty bad if it's half the price

Just about made up my mind to go iPhone 5. Guy I played golf with today has the iPhone 4 and swears by it. Flogs it but only needs charging every three to five days he reckons. Don't know whether to buy it outright and stick my sim in it and stay on the same Telstra plan, or sign up for a new plan and avoid parting with $799 up front.

after a bit of cutting it will fit. the chip in the sim has stayed the same size all they have done is gotten rid off the plastic around the sim. While on the iphone 4 there was still a bit of plastic surrounding the chip, on the iPhone 5 there would lucky to be 1mm. to me it is a bit of a risk especially if you want to keep that sim. what plan do you have with telstra?

My existing plan is three years old this June so was up for renewal last year. It's $39.99 per month for $400 worth of calls and text and 2 gb data

I have been on the same plan for years and changed the phone regularly but had to change the Sim size once, all for free. (Vodafone though)
