No doubt Mike Teakles team is full of powder puffs, Mike Teakle would be lost being unable to pick half the Barossa Districts team or Craig Harvey and i have a sneaky feeling Mike Teakle might have a new love interest with the arriaval of KK. I reckon if i owned the Kingsleys old house i would be putting it on the market ;)

Why WOULD the Ango guys get on and post when we lose,
what are we gonna say????
We don't bitch about results or come up with excuses we just take it and
wait til next week so we can post again.
Coach Teakle meanwhile stirred the over-35s to a solid win at Nuri yesterday
taking his coaching record to a respectable 1-0,
sadly like a hobo at a fancy restaurant.....he bought very, very little to the table.

Can anyone confirm if Teaks was able to secure the services of Ben Madgen in the ruck for the over 35's game, I know he was wine and dining the star Basketballer to try to get him to make an appearance. I also heard that ex Barossa District and now Hamley Bridge coach Rian 'Sponge' Nelson was Teaks's magnet board holder for the day, any truth in these rumours

As for Kent we might have to rename him Kieron after Kieron Pollard. I hear he flew in from The Carribbean for the game, good work if you can get it, the vineyard over there must be going well.
Good to see the Ango boys get chirpy again after smashing uncle Ians boys, they go pretty quiet when they get rolled. The weekly posts get halved when that happens :)

Special K to play another few games to qualify and cause enough head aches for lubs come finals.
thought the most damaging thing to come from todays games was the pairing of harvey and the b-train in the middle in the second half, quality midfielders with a hard edge all clubs wish they had!
pre-season predictions will pre-vail go you panthers

7 goals, 7 points and gave off atleast 5 goals where he could have had a ping himslef. I can also tell you that Kent is playing for nothing as he has always wanted to come back to the club and play with his best mate Harves. Rumour has it that his parents have moved back to the Barossa so he could be back for more than just a couple of games!!!
I think that with Kent's inclusion plus the return of the General Bennett and the Green Grocer White over the next couple of weeks Angaston would have to push up to grand final favourites along with Tanunda. With these inclusions, Lubke might have to actually coach his side not just rock up and hold the magnet board.

Was mouth watering to see the velvet sledgehammer pull the blue and white colours on again.
After blowing the cobwebs out from more than 12 months out of the game, the "Special K" could've bagged 10+ if not for palming 3-4 gimmes off to fellow comrades.
Lubke will now need to hit the button and take the ship out of autopilot and into manual control.
Kennedy, Britton, Agars v Duldig, Kingsley, Pech.
Also a notable return to service from Private Kurtz.

I was a late ommision for Coach Teakle.
A nagging calf stopped me show casing my brilliance to my three grandchildren.
Was looking forward to producing the form that single handedly guided the panthers to a win in the GF replayed against Kapunda in 1977.
Will try to get the body ready for next years game Pitbull.....

Thats one of the funniest things i've heard in a long time. :ymapplause: =)) There might be an arm wrestle between Teakle and Argent for that Madgen exclusive.

The Duke? He's back. As soon as Kingo was around he was always gonna chirp up,
and he is always fond of a Teakle-Madgen love tryst, if Ben had've played the best players would've read:
1.Madgen, 2.Madgen, 3.Madgen, 4.Madgen, 5.Madgen.
Such is the esteem that Teaks holds for the big fella.
The most notable thing of Private Kurtz's return on the weekend was him trying to test
his broken leg by cannoning into the goal-post at full speed.
Unlike Leigh Matthews though, he was unable to bring it down.

Any word on the players who are inconveniencing my weekend of football so that they can go and play the zone comp. I would rather miss a week for association footy rather than a lighting carnival.

BL&G players to make the zone team :
TANUNDA - Wells, Kennedy, Prior x2, Newberry, Agars, Schiller, Schmidt
ANGASTON - Bain, Duldig
SOUTH - Porter

Think that is all, good luck to all boys involved!!

I don't think so but one of them does talk about himself a lot?

Yes have been a bit silent Days, I have been busy trying to hunt down the ellusive Osama up in the hills, I got a glimpse of him one day in his diesel mercedes in lovers lane with a car load of goats but he disapeared in a cloud of black smoke. Going on your theory about me being silent due to Freelings win loss ratio I should actually be on this site all the time, lets face it I was very chirpy when Freeling couldn't win a game and now they have managed some success.

Are you sure? If he does talk about himself, it doesn't seem to be in a very flattering sense.
No idea who Osama is, knows too much about ancient history of Ango to be me.
Is one of lifes great mysteries really, you should spend a lot of time trying to work it out

Yes, as a general rule of thumb. Although "Tess" might find a spot for a suitably credentialed senior citizen in an effort to get the edge.

My guess is that Osama is a bit STINKY and maybe a bit KINKY. Good to see Toronto back, I thought he had moved there for a while, hope he didnt try to drive there :)
Not a bad effort from Tanunda, out of a team of 25 for the Eastern zone ( and we'd all bleed for the ole Eastern guernsey) they have 8. Mind you this is from a total of 20 teams in the zone, and Leigh Westhoff has put in a clearance back there, just for a bit of "depth"
