Who in the Two Wells team would be looking to "catchup" with Joel this week?? Is he owed something Jumbo, Im not sure any of the Roosters could do much damage to the Muckhole!
I heard he'll get off anyway, nothing in it!!

That's excellent news SD - your mail is always good.

Was talking to a couple on Saturday night (late) who I can't really remember to be honest - just recall the lads are looking forward to catch up with him.

Couple of good players - I am sure Two Wells would be interested. Willie played at Greenacres Div 4 didn't he? How did Wally go at Peake?

yeah thats right jumbo. willie is starting to play his best footy leading into finals, was best on or close to last week by my mail. wally ended up second by a goal or 2 on the goal kickers list with 60 something i believe. not bad in a team that finished bottom and stuggled to kick 10 a game

Dont think Wally would go back to Two Wells heard he likes it out at Peak with his missus.

I think you should shut your pie-hole norm until he goes up. I know it would be your club's only "achievement" this year if you managed to get a player to miss finals (like your whole club is going to do), but maybe keep your opinions to yourself until after the tribunal has met instead of trying to influence them beforehand.

Funniest thing I have read on here for along time - not the dig at norm who is more than entitled to his opinion by the way - but the thought that the tribunal or any other official would be influenced by this forum - hahaha - you crack me up Jack.

I hope your wrong norm - a couple of the Roosters are looking forward to catching up with joel this week.

I just spoke to Joel and he is shaking in his boots. Seriously who from TW is going to go within 3 metres of him.

Woofa wrote:Well i might as well put down my thoughts for the season also. Some teams surprised me this year while others performed on par.
Mallala - No surprise really . Expected them to be at least in the top two but not a couple of games clear on top. Don't dominate a whole game like in previous years & can lapse, giving sides a chance to get back in. Still a class side though.
Eagles - Have surprised me. Really did think that they would struggle a touch with players getting older but to there credit are as strong as ever.
Balak - Big surprise. Didin't tip them for the top 4 at all. So many good kids is the key for them in my opinion.
Virginia - No surprise. Expected them to be strong.
Two Wells - Bit of a surprise. Did expect them to make the four but if did, didn't really rate them a chance to win it.
United - Also surprised me. With all the hype around there recruiting this year, would've thought they would've been contenders. Recruits were disappointing as was the performance of many of the local stars.
Hamley - On par. Never believed the hype on this forum at the start of the season. Accept that there were some big injuries at the start but all that would've changed is maybe another couple of wins. Having said that, certainly did improve & will need to keep all good players from this season while adding some quality.
Finals should be awesome this year with anyone in top 4 capable. If had to pick...........Virginia (maybe)??

Agree. Balak the big improver and Tigers & TW the 2 dissapointments. Hamley were always gonna be shit.

will be a good end to the reserves this week, mallala must win or not lose by more than 4 goals to make the finals, united need mallala to lose by more than 5 goals to make finals, and balaklava need to win but can keep there place by percentage, only way for a season to finish,a top week in footy this week for both a grade and reserves.

Could the 'Impact Coach' Simon Johnson be heading out to Two Wells next season?

Never heard of him. My information tells me Mark "Bugsy" Thompson will take over from Fitzy. I think he's currently their assistant coach.

Not sure, you are closer to Fitzy than me Hound Dog. Just putting on here what I've been hearing, nothing personal in it.

Lets just clear up that we are UNITED Football Club!

Apparently a supporter who is not a member or anyway involved in our club had some criticism of the umpires at one of the breaks. This was an isolated incident and hasn't happended with any of our supporters before. At the end of the day the supporter was in the wrong and as he was supporting us on the day, the club has to wear that one on the chin.
