Paget named for port so lack of height will hurt South, id expect Willaston by about 5 goals

I saw south against the panthers on Saturday and if South play like that against willaston it will be a 15+ goal belting. They were insipid, lacked any real heart. Give credit to Ango they came out to win and played good honest hard football, the game was not pretty and skill level of both sides was not at the peak of the comp but Angaston were the ones that wanted the ball, disciplined and willing to play for each other, can't say the same for South.

South won by 8pts. Willaston are surely the most over paid crocks ive seen in a while. South played them off the park and only a few dubious umpiring decisions got them close. Willaston closed to a couple of points near end but fir once south held their nerves and sealed the result

Willaston full forward serious concusion may miss a few, McLean hamstring gone for a month, South hunted the footy in the midfield in the first half and kicked the opening 6 goals, Donnies stat sheet for the entire onballers could have done on your fingers,(plenty of egos and not enogh hard work). There skipper back to his best lip service effort of the year with team mates.
The association needs to find another club and get rid of the bye, No constancy from the clubs as they can't build any momentum.
South will cause plenty of upset on there tight, windy oval. Conditions as experienced yesterday probably occur on weekly basis at training and there boys would be adjusted to it, Hard to beat on there day.

No clubs have complained the last few years about the bye? I say deal with it!
Although if Willaston put a complaint in about the bye to Nobby and his troopers, we will see a change very quickly.

Well done to South, just shows how close this comp is going to be this season. Ventured to magpie park to watch Freeling get pretty well pumped, it was really only 5 late goals which made the score line looked reasonable. Greeny was in stellar form and easily pick up 3 votes in a losing side, Wells will probably get 2. Freeling have got a long way to go but there is some great young talent there.

Osama I hope all is well, I saw a Blackhawk go over the other day, I think there onto you, keep moving that tribe around in them hills and you should be right and I very much doubt that they will dare get you at any home games, the goats alone would be enough to stop them.

Is it just me or has the standard of the comp dropped to an all time low this year?

Some very average players running around in nearly all teams, oh well need to get used to it with the points system in place and not going anywhere.

By the way Jim05 South should beat Willaston, they would be coughing up more coin. How did Irwin go this week, did he get up around the $100 per disposal?

Barossa v Angaston game was a ding dong battle, with the panthers falling over at the last hurdle.
Commane was well held all day, but proved the difference in the last quarter.
Look forward to catch up with the AK47 at training this week to understand the soft underbelly of Tanunda.
Thanks for asking Skipper, the family is all safe and well!! did you support Tanunda or Freeling on the weekend?

Irwin was out.
And by the way a couple of the Willaston faithful were raving on I wouldnt think we are coughing up a quarter of what they are.

Question.
Why the final four & not the final five?
The final five is a better system & gives the top team the reward for the year they have. :?

Not a great weekend for tipping again. Looks as if willaston are a bunch of front runners. Looks as if the wheels have started to fall off already.

Hard to debate the standard of the comp to previous years with different rules being set every year. The points system is in it's early years and it will stop teams dominating that's for sure. I like the concept however. It makes clubs put more time and effort in to the home grown talent.

what does M.Trzeciak need to do to get a game at South Gawler, he's trimmed down considerably and is reminiscent of Stewie Loewe's buckethands in the magoos atm!

As a player I would say the league doesn't have as much depth this year,
but in saying that, it has so far been the most enjoyable start to a season I have had.
Everyone is in the mix, every game is up for grabs, and any team can make finals.
Its great for the teams and spectators.
Who cares if the league isn't as strong?
If the points system leads to 2 games between 1st and 9th after 6 rounds,
then I am thinking it might just have merit.
The league seems to get stronger for 4 or 5 years and then there is a 'drop-off' year,
then it builds again, not the end of the world, gives someone a chance to Jag a flag.

The Losers Osama, but please elaborate on the AK47 thing? As for the comp, it has not come back but the top couple of sides just are not as dominant as previous years and the bottom sides are better, surely a very good situation to be in as Stewie as mentioned.

Great to hear that my good mate Matty Trez is starting to play some solid footy again, hes been out a long time with back trouble due to sprouting into an absolute bean pole in a short space of time. I didnt believe him at first but it seems there is some truth to all the hype  Played all my juniors with him and he was always the most talented kid on the field so it was only a matter of time until he got his body right and started playing senior footy. Hopefully he gets that gig in the A's seen as they have been trying out alot of youngster's this year.

Talking to Greeny on the weekend, think you may find that Chief Kennedy is training with Angaston mid week.
