I don't care what teams people tip, but you will only ever see me tipping United. Surely pride in yourself and your own team comes well before winning an online footy tipping contest! :?

United 1-39
Hummocks 1-39
Balaklava 40+
If you don't like it, change it. If you don't want to change it, it can't be that bad!

Im sorry but surely as a player you can't pick the opposition team in your football tips? Even with the smiley faces etc thats just to hide the fact that your picking the opposition team. Not having a crack just confused by that MH. Can i have a explanation?

Good luck all tomorrow. Go the bombers and bomberettes =)

Hardly a fair tipping comp if you can only pick your team and ya struggling, why bother doing it? That said I havent tipped against us as it does feel a touch wrong, having said that, I was about to tip Hamley, however I know the boys will not let that happen, HWE 1-39, Balak 40+, Mallala 1-39 :D

win win as I see it MH, I am sure when we beat Balak today you wont be the slightest bit concerned about loosing the tip. As for the precious comments on here - does anyone actually believe that any player at this level is thinking about their tips when there is a contest or a ball to be won?

Norm - IMHO you need to continue to contribute your comments - ignore the outside influences and keep on punching.

Hamley Bridge 9.12 (66) d HW Eagles 7.9 (51) by 15 points.
Mallala 17.14 (116) d United 5.4 (34) by 82 points.
Balaklava 19.13 (127) d Two Wells 2.8 (20) by 107 points.

UNDERthePACK (free) 2, 1, 2, 6, 4, 5, 4, 4, 6 = 34
OnSong ($) 2, 3, 5, 4, 4, 4, 1, 5, 4 = 32

Dr Pink (free) 4, 5, 3, 3, 3, 3, 2, 2, 3 = 28

Fog Horn Leg Horn (free) 0, 0, 5, 2, 2, 3, 0, 1, 2 = 15

UNDERthePACK has taken a strong grip of the tipping comp with his second round of perfect tipping so far this year, six points taking him two clear of the chasing pack, which includes OnSong and Hazbeen.
MC's Tigers burnt a few this week, widely tipped to win but were given a football lesson by the seasoned 'Pies. Maidenmagpie would have been pleased but for the fact he forgot to put his tips in this week (I think) and copped the lowest score of two, achieved by Fog Horn Leg Horn, MC and Woofa.
Norm11's Bombers finally gave him reason to cheer and also gifted him his highest round score for the season with four points.
I can't give extra points to Dr Pink, but his tip of Balak by 80+ deserves a mention.

Can you be suspended for 2 weeks these days for taking a swing at a bloke (bloke who flattened one of your team mates late and high) and missing by 3 feet?
Some folks are wise and some are otherwise.

Fair enough. Thanks for that OnSong.

Barry Burgess better be careful next time he celebrates a goal by punching the air...might cop 2 games for attempted striking.

No MH I was kidding about Barry.

Another one of our players was reported for attempted striking. I just wasnt sure on the rule and penalties for taking a swing and missing by three feet.
