"Semmens etc"...I like it. Must be a memorable team!
But you're right, the squad has been good. But because of A's losing and injuries that should come up fine, both squads should be stronger.
Should be up to 3 changes.

bcc, the only player who is able to come down from the A's is andy hayward as he only played 1&1/2 A grade games and the rest of the yr in the 2's. no one else can come down from the A's. B's and C's looking the best all yr for the GF on sat. would be nice to grab 2 flags, it makes mad monday alot happier.

They're ripe for the picking.
Plus ER haven't seen 3 of our players at all this year, 2 of them bowlers. That could help a bit.

Noticed a couple of the Mylor boys having an extra net session at Heathfield during the week. Will be a cracker of a match against Aldgate. Expect plenty of lip as well with the Gate skipper no doubt leading the charge. Expect Wolverine and Fleet to also have a bit to say. Is Waddna playing for ACC :?: :?: :?: :?:

Actually, don't be surprised if Gate B's hold off on the lip and just rely on being a better team.
I think Fleety can self destruct, he won't need much said to him.

Must get stuck into Finchy aka 'f*ck f*ck'.

The nickname has been handed his way from the Ling for a while now due to the fact that the man uses more obscenities when he talks than Chopper Reid.

If only he played footy so some shanty could smack him!

I have actually been told that Finch is one of the few blokes that gets the sh#ts up more than me.
F#CK!
I think he may cop a bit, I dare say our captain may have a little to say when Finch bats.
I wish today was Saturday, I'm chomping at the bit!!

Problem with FF is that when he gets the shits up he actually plays well.

Still, it's worth it for the entertainment level seeing him go bananas. It's funny as hell and you can see that his team mates are hating it too!

the funniest thing is he says it to himself all the time while batting...listen carefully...and when you get him out he will say it all the way off and for the next 20 minutes while he sulks!!

The shanty boys here should ask Richard Neale what he did to his girlfirend back in their redcaps days

I was running for Lockleys FC a few years ago against Hectorville and had this bloke abusing me all day (I was the runner FFS!) then realised it was Finchy!!!...tool

COME IN SPINNER . I don't think i have that much to say and if i do it is mostly to do with cricket. Aldgate have mostly good blokes in the team - so don't confuze sledging with friendly banter.
I do admit that when i was younger i was a bit vocal - but can't be borhered anymore.
Maybe a GF might change a few boys though - getting them fired up!

He couldn't do that when he played the Ling a couple of years back because I was on the sidelines giving him a bigger sendoff than McGrath ever gave Sarwan!

No wonder everyone from Cabbage hates me (although they probably agreed with what I said that day!!!)

Dead set seed that bloke!
