Beware the redlegs?
They won't make the 4.
They seem to have the wood on Willaston this year but wouldn't get carried away on that alone.

Is this a joke??? He wouldnt even make an association squad , why was last years medallist not even in the squad to start with?? Obviously the mini bus doesnt like Harvey, personal vendetta getting in the way of selecting the best side possible, i know who id rather have in my team.

Personal vendetta Days, Are you joking? Sounds like you have one.
Firstly Turrell is probably the best in and under player in the BLG and one of the best clearance players. Look at the opposition coaches votes in the Barracker for a start. Secondly old man Harvey might not have made himself available.
Thirdly do you consider yourself a better judge than the coach of the last couple of BLG premierships?
Stop griping and get behind the BLG players. It's your type of parochial club s**t that holds back these sort of competitions and damages the reputation of our league. Take your rubbish elsewhere.

Tuz is playing some good footy this year and last year for that matter,
but best in and under player in the league might be a stretch.
If an association team was picked by 100 people, maybe 3 would have him in the midfield,
and they would all be Kapunda supporters.
Not saying he hasn't been worthy of consideration but there are a few guys in front of him.
1 of them would be Harvey. Not sure why he keeps getting called old, he is not in the top-3
for age at Angaston, where men are bred to be durable and come with lifetime warranty's.

And they say Angaston people don't exaggerate Stewie, and irony is lost up in the hills too.
Harvey may not be old, but he's not playing the same footy as he was last year, or before that - the guard's changing for all you old fellas. 100 people? And they'd all be Ango supporters too. A pity they control footy in the BLG. And as for Tuzz not making the Association team, this is it - and your guys didn't put their hand or were considered NOT GOOD ENOUGH.
I admit some of your comments have been making sense lately, but face it, you had your year last year - guys in your team aren't good enough now - time to face reality.
But your time will come again - then you can crow- sorry growl, you're crowing now.

Its no secret Lubke doesnt like harvey, as has already been said blind freddy could have coached tanunda to the last 3 flags, have a look at what lubke did at barossa when he had a team that was equal to most others in the comp at the time.

Past history Days. My point still stands. You're living in the past, Lubke's
got the premierships.
If you're gonna attack players individually, get your facts right.

I agree HS regardless whether he can coach or not, his record says 3 premierships and 1 loss in the past 3 years. And that's the only thing people will see in years to come. Not a bad resume from whatever your sitting...
Personally I don't think he is a great coach, but he was in the right place at the right time and credit to the club, they won the flags...

Would think the blockheaded ones have 1 hand on the trophy already now.

Touche' there Brook, if he can rack up another 5 BOG's he will be a genuine chance, well played.
Hotspur....hardly see how I am crowing, from where we are at this year would be foolish.
Actually think we have gone OK this year with the cattle we have.
Now I can't speak for the other older types in the team but if I got asked to play zone/association
I would have to decline as I am fairly fond of the bye, and the double bye=hallelujah.
Have a small break, do a couple of weeks of flat-out training, then pretend to be 18 for about 6 more weeks.
Harvey may look at it the same way, regardless, he should've been asked to play and wasn't.
Your right, it may be a one-eyed Ango view but I would pick Diddles before Tuz.
No room for them both.

It's good to see that there's room for different opinions Stewie. I never disagreed about Harvey being a great player. His record speaks for itself.
But the Zone coach may have a different opinion to you, like I do; it's all in the perspective and as I said it's time for a change. Its nice of Harvey and others to give new guys a chance to go where they've been in football by having the rest. only six more weeks!

I reckon Lubs did a very good job with Tanunda,
just to keep the majority of that side together for 4-5 years shows he was able to control/stroke egos,
lets be realistic, there would have been some egos in that side, not being derogatory as with talent comes ego.
But he obvioulsy found a way to keep them together and up and about for a sustained period which was impressive.
In another one-eyed observation I think Hads has done a very good job with Ango this year,
trust me when I say with the losses we had this season, it all could have gone to crap real fast.
Had we have found a way to win some games we should have, things could have looked better on paper for him too.
Don't know what happens to the Panthers when the old-guard give it away, especially if it happens all at once.
Will take some sort of coach to go through those 2-3 years....

any chance of the BLGFL folding after Dogga Woodards has now been missing for one and a half seasons?
