All the hard work C.Kellet done for IF has been erased.Ingle Farm entered amatuer league from SAFA in Div6 in the 80's and now are in Div7,they have gone so far backwards in that time. IF were in Div4 not long ago and have gone down grades ever since. What the f... is going on,they now have to make a GF in Div7 to go back up,not an easy thing to do,all the good work has come crashing down!

The hard work and success that Chris Kellett achieved at Ingle Farm was erased within 2 years. Reality is that they are in exactly the same position as they were 12 months ago....relegated to Div 7. Hopefully they have finally bottomed out. They have had 7 different Senior coaches since 2006 and need to rectify this and start getting some stability. Also need to recruit some players. At times this year they proved they could mix it in Div 6, but things fell away after Round 9....not winning a game in the second half of the year.

I would expect an influx of players to come with Knowles.

At what stage do the footy and management committees take some responsibility? Will the same people be steering the ship next year? All makes me laugh. Not too late for me and a couple of mates to save the footy club again. Pick up the phone....lol

would have thought that if the agm is this week that no coaching positions would be put in place until a board takes over
what happens now if they get a new committee who decide to go a different way
we stand as one
we fight as one
we win and lose as one
we are one

Ah the great dee man makes a valid point! Or maybe the committee has been decided and the AGM is exclusive to only a few members :P

I thought all coaching positions had to be advertised as per the constitution states.

Enough of the IF talk, lets talk finals :)

Central United v Trinity OS - 1 all in games against each other this year with TOS getting up at home in rd 1 by 17pts and United getting up at home in rd 10 by 32 points. Mixed form coming into the finals with TOS winning 3 of 5 (narrowly going down to Kenilworth in rd 18 by 2 pts) and United winning 2 of 5. Across the journey TOS have the better defence but United the better attack. Being played at United it is hard to go against them but they'll have to bring their most disciplined game given the umpires will be of a higher standard than in the minor rounds. United by about 4 goals.

Blackfriars OS v Glenunga - BOS hold the upper hand going into this contest but 18 rds of form count for not much come 2.15 on Saturday. They've won both fixtures this year in rd 9 and 18 by 27 and 29 points respectively and have managed to get the ascendency in both games during the 2nd half. Could be another shoot out in fine conditions and promises to be an enthralling contest on the postage stamp of St Doms. Both attacking sides but BOS with a more sound defence in my view. Definitely picking the form side and picking from my heart in this one. BOS by 3 goals.

In the 2's - Uni in the QF against Kenilworth and Henley in the EF against Glenunga

well played SMG on winning the div 6 footy tips. Bluedemon just couldn't bridge the gap late in the season.
Well done to Quichey for running it.
