They dont coach but receive cash nonetheless. Maybe its just jealousy - back in my day nobody got paid, but the clubs were always cash strapped and living from one chook raffle to the next.
Back in your day, beers were 2p a glass, pubs closed at 6, the milk was delivered in bottles, horse & carts were still in fashion, Bradman had not even moved to SA & Bobby Davis was playing for Geelong! Having said that, it is a fact nowadays that money is ruining grassroots sport.

if your players are loyal you should have nothing to worry about!
off topic is there any way we can see who has won all the asca section 1 premierships at year to year basis?

Anyone from keswick willing to counter these claims? Im not too fussed about whether they do or dont, doesnt effect rambler players as we dont play for the coin. If Keswick feel that paying players is the only way to stay competitive then good luck to them. Were trying to build from the ground up which I believe is the only sustainable way.
I think ull find these blokes claiming to have been offered money are just full of shit cos they arent worth a cent its hard wicket cricket for crying out loud anyone who asks for money to play hardwicket cricket is a loser in my eyes

I looked at it last time we won it which was back in the late 90's, I reckon from memory warradale had a the most (it was 15 years ago that I looked at it). From memory Warradale had a bit of a dynasty when they won a whole heap.

I will no doubt be corrected.
Yeah i think your correct. Although there were a few from a couple non-existent clubs back in the day that would be up there.
Since we have been in the competition, i think we have won 4, ANA 4, Morphys 1, Ramblers 1 and ICC 1 (Actually think thats wrong now im looking at it). Bloods?
SRCC won a few years ago. I'm surprised you forgot that one CK..

Just a rough guess at where they are (in Keswicks instance, even though the oval is south of Daws Rd, Keswick is actually South of it, hence them on the South Side, plus it also then gets 6 section 1 sides in each side).
Would be a good annual fundraiser for a different charity or something along those lines, to played at different ovals each year.
The sides that could be playing based on last year stats pretty much with highest runs and wickets on each side:
Southern: 1. Michael Thomas 2. Darren Thomas 3. Dave Sampson 4. Matthew Smith 5. Jai Koirala (c) 6. Sam Foster 7. Dave Wright (only keeper i could think of. Loizi not taken into account as he is not a cricketer) 8. Ben Cameron 9. Josh Lourens 10. Matthew Tonkes 11. Chris Winning
Northern: 1. Jake Whenan 2. Matt King 3. Rusty Curyer 4. Robbie Hopkins (c) 5. Heath McKay 6. Cohen Mattner 7. Ben McCormack 8. Daniel Rowe 9. Mark Whenan (most wickets from a spinner on northern side with only 17, your crap...unfortunately had to pick him) 10. Anthony May 11. Daniel Florence
