Wheats doesn't have to qualify for B's if they are playing on the same day as A's. Can drop an A grader to B's during finals under this rule without playing any B games during the season (seen it done for a grand final when both played on same day).

As long as he isnt named in the clubs top 15 players which would have been submitted to the league during this week.
If you don't like it, change it. If you don't want to change it, it can't be that bad!

What a fantastic day out at Lochiel on Saturday, a big crowd set in early and sensational weather, Hummocks must've made a killing for the day.
On the main game, Virginia we're carrying too many injuries into the game, James shouldn't have played and losing Avery early cost Virginia dearly in the big man department.
They did well to stay in touch for 3 quarters, this was mainly due to Balak's inaccuracy though, once they got their radar locked in and gained momentum they were unstoppable and will relish the week off.
A couple of brilliant marks by Dawson set the faithful alight right when they needed a spark to step up into top gear.
The B grade was a good duel with Virginia flying out of the blocks in the last quarter to get within 12 points when they were about 30 points down at the break, Balak's were able to stem the flow though and steady the ship home.
Two Wells never looked back in the 17's as they defeated Balak's very comfortably and Mallala opened up too big a lead in the 14's by half time to allow any chance of a Balak fightback.

The whole day was a great advertisement for country footy.

His vertical leap is one of the best I've ever seen. He's quick off the mark and keeps his eyes on the ball, a very hard match-up for anyone in the game, especially if the delivery is good.

That might not be until next season as I think the Pies will knock off the Rams this week.

I think most Balaklava people would be hoping that happens, given the beltings Balak have dealt the pies in 2011. Pies have a fair bit of improvement ahead of them this week if they are to challenge the Rams on Saturday.

Agree with Hazbeen, I think Mallala will win this week. I beleive that they are a much fitter side and that will show on Saturday especially with the weather tipped to be 25 and Virginias injury problems.

On yesterdays game, Mallala were just too good in the end, but we had our chances. We shouldve taken more control in the first half and shut them completely out of the game, but as they say bad kicking is bad footy and we ended up paying the price for our errors. Credit to Mallala for making us pay, lesser teams may have let us get away with bad kicking.

I obviously have no interest in the rest of the year, however I will keep myself occupied observing the following over the net 2 weeks

1. - The weather report this week, the hotter the better. Means we will sell more drinks which hopefuly earns our club plenty of $$$$$$'s!

2. - I will be very interested in how Virginia cope with the GF. Both times we have played there this year it has been a shambles and thats with a smallish crowd. If their A Grade and B Grade make the GF then this will only make problems worse for them and I just hope that the day is not under catered for. Time will tell.

As long as they dont run out of beer and allow a mega phone into the game I dont care. P.s. is there any ruling for mega phones? permitted or not-permitted?
