Seems a lot from one club, are they majoity A Grade ???
A couple are and quite a few of that list didnt even play at GC last year...

Coach said in an interview in the Bunyip a few weeks ago that they'd lost '13 from last year's A grade'. Surely he'd know?

A Graders
Hahn - Retired
Heberle - Hamley Bridge
Brading - Kilburn
Thomas - Mannum

Others
McCafferty (fringe) - Kilburn
Long (Fringe) - Kilburn
Oxenham (Fringe) - Two Wells
Williams (didnt play last year) - Kilburn
Molyneux (At Centrals last year) - Kilburn

Can't think of too many more from the seniors that have moved on at this stage...

What about Brading, Hillebrand and Hewett? Even if they were "fringe" players they played a lot of A games last year, as did the others you mentioned. That makes 12 with the others you listed Extractor( I'll leave out Molyneux ). That's a big chunk of the senior squad - A or "fringe". I didn't see that many quality ins in the clearances; yet.

I mentioned Brading. Fair call on Hillebrand. Hewett didn't play much at all last year really...nobody is saying we are flag favorites mate, just saying that they probably shouldn't engrave the wooden spoon until everyone has played a few games!

Tanunda
Barossa
Freeing
Willaston

Kaunda
Nuriootpa
South
Angaston
Central

Very predictable season set, only a few teams a slight chance to vary one position at best. Is the predictability of the new points system already showing its wears.

anyone heard about an incident in a local hotel in gawler over the week-end involving a coach of a club-coach is new to club but coached previously with another club.If rumor is correct he may be given his marching orders.

Has to be either South Gawler or Gawler Centrals coach, can't see it being Scotty Lee, so would have to be the latter. If im correct though

All this before a ball is bounced, looks like another good year for the gold & black. Maybe KS can takeover, now wouldn't that be something to behold!

What trial games are on over the week-end and where are they being played.
Good to get out and check out the new imports at some of the clubs on the improve eg Barossa, South, Freeling and Willaston.
Anyone from Tanunda confirm the Underwood boy's back at Waikerie as no clearance applications on either site at this stage.
South will be big improvers this year especially if they get Musolino.
Paget and Bevis back along with 5 other good players and with youngster's coming through watch out the Lion will roar again in 2012.
Not premiership capacity but will give top 4 a shake and will test all teams during the year.
Tanunda only need to lose Wells with injury and they are back to the field.
Kaesler and Newberry year older and if Underwood's gone back to Waikerie they still should be favourites for the flag but margin closing.
Great year ahead.
Waiting for that great journo Teakles top 20 to see how many Ango players in his selection.
Basco will still probably be in the mix.

Was it at a club function and was he arrested? If no to both those then why should he get the sack... Yeah he probably shouldn't have done whatever he did but I don't see Bernie Vince getting his marching orders for what he did...
