What a ridiculous statement Sammy! Either you're a dyed in the wool magpie or you're letting their hype get to you. They may be a great team, but your football knowledge is sadly lacking. Have you seen Kapunda play this year?
I doubt it! Hope they make you eat your words.

Hot was only a couple of goals out in my 14 goal prediction.

Some facts

1. Tanunda best team in country football
2. Tanunda best run club off the field
3. Tanunda most financial club in BLG
4. Tanunda lowest points in BLG
5. Tanunda will win 2012 flag and should go through undefeated

Hey, don't you mean 'OUR' 14 goal prediction.....
Dont think the Blockies will be undefeated this year, maybe even 2 losses.

Interesting observation that.
What I find intersting is during their past four premierships they have had many changes in key personell:
3x different captains Martin, Schiller, Newberry
3x different presidents Tarca, Harman, Greening
2x Different coaches, Lubke, Britton
Is their success attributed to a well run club or would they have still won these premierships if Fred Flinstone was in charge.
Most other clubs have had more stable key personell over this period.
Maybe a generation of good locals!!!

Facebook just told me that Freeling won $10,000 from our friends at Triple M, am I being lied to or is that true? Mohammed?

2 or 3 changes per year is bugger all. The core of the side is more stable than most clubs and much more talented too. Rotation of captains is insignificant. A change in president would have absolutely no affect on the playing group and both coaches are very good. Clutching at straws!!!! They are just better in all facets.

Well Done to Freeling, 10K will go along way, maybe putting it back into the locals might be a good idea, give the young kids something out of it

See Chris McClean lined up and bagged 3 goals for Fitzroy in Divvy 5 footy. Waste of a good talent playing in that standard of footy, ahh well good luck to the guy, must be something that has gone down for him to leave at this stage of the season, maybe money was a factor, couldnt give him enough coin to satisfy the man?

And then there was one. Only S Baker left from the fab four. And even he wanted out at the start of the year, with only a contract holding him at the brooks.
Haven't seen Campbell in the best players yet, was the money on that he had a good off season up north.

what a joke, i cant believe they think a barrossa club is one of the less fortunate clubs going around and in need of money to win 10k, the player payments in this comp are a discrace, there are amateur clubs out there that cant pay players and find it hard to even buy new footys or medical equipment and they give it to a club that blows 10s of thousands of dollars on imported footballers... (and not very good ones at that)..

Absolute joke. That is approx one and a half extra overpaid hacks next year in a club that has no spirit.

They have no actually won the 10k yet you meatheads! For making th last 10 of the WildTurkey10 they have won $2000, merchandise and tyraining aids etc... As part of the competition you need to go on facebook and vote for what team you think deserves to win it. You can see each sides entry on turkey10.ocm.au from Friday. Guess they won't have your two votes then, hey? And as Lethal Dose said, 'Lets hope they spend it on the youth in the club and not some over priced imports'.
