This weeks winners

Ango v Kap - Kapunda by 6 goals - good balanced team the Bombers
South v Nuri - Could already decide 4 th spot this game-South by a whisker- 5points
Tan v Centrals - Centrals could start at 12 noon and still not beat Tanunda - Tan by 15 goals
Bar v Freling - Could be the end of Tylor after Barossa beat them by 5 goals - Freeling are better than there form shows and if Bar still have plenty out injured Freeling could cause a suprprise

There must be a reason for him not going back to GC.
He was one of the main instigator's in getting rid of poor old Wakka and he then goes and signs with another club.
GC would be spewing as they really need his experience in their young team at the moment.

My mail is that rumour is false.

Why would central get so close to Tanunda?
Last time they met was a 30 goal loss with a much better side than they have now?

Great comeback by South today, trailed 6.1 to 0.4 at 1/4 Time and were still 5 goals down at 1/2 Time.
Started the last quarter 10 points down and got up by just over a goal.
Was impressed with Byrne not sure how many he ended up with but reckon he kicked 4 or 5 in the first quarter and another couple early in the second before Lawry went to him. Dont reckon he got a kick after that.

Jim I sense an air of excitement in your posts, and why not your boys seem to be along quite nicely and should slot into the 4 this year.

We have been down in the dumps for years so its great to be winning a few games.
Real good feeling around the club at the moment with all 4 sides going well and plenty of numbers in the seniors. In the past the Ressies have scraped together numbers but at the moment there is up to a dozen who miss out everyweek, plenty of guys applying pressure for an A grade game
Still a long way to go before thinking of top 4, the top 2 are set and i think there may be 4 or 5 sides fighting for the last 2 spots. Freeling and Central can battle for the spoon

Don't think Angaston will be fighting for the four if they continue as they did yesterday. Very good effort by Kapunda playing as a team - lots of guys in form. Panthers played one quarter for Hadden in his 300th then seemed to lose interest. Bombers should've won by a lot more.

Kapunda should have won by a lot more???
They had 1 more scoring shot and each team won 2 quarters,
I thought had Angaston won some taps, and had a 2nd avenue to goal it could've been a lot closer.

Sorry Stewie, but if Kapunda had kicked straighter in the first quarter it would've been different, as it was it was a good even quarter. And as for the last, the game was over, kaput! - so you won the quarter, but Kapunda still kicked 4. You had 13 kicked against you in 2 quarters! Bit of a stretch to claim an even game if you had kicked better.

Watched the Barossa v Freeling game on the weekend.
The sooner they give Tylor the boot and reinstate Greenwood
the better they will be.

Wouldn't think Greeny would take the job back.

Mark always knew the Freeling punters wanted success sooner, rather than later. He has always maintained he wanted a look at the competition this year with baby steps and hopeful premiership success in 1-2 years time.

Would these sort of results be tolerated though, even in a rebuild?

By the way, the Redlegs' final score was 59 points on the weekend. Horsnell's final tally of 7 goals would have had an additional few points behind it, you'd assume. So...he's scored at least 44 points out of the the team's total score...a bit scary.

The last time he took baby steps was during his time inside the womb.
He'd want it 'now' because 'later' is not in his dictionary..................but only because he can't spell it!
