Oh dear its not a happy backline at the panthers. Meet the General at Berri a few weeks ago, seems like a pretty reasonable bloke. Did anyone help him against Heater last week or were the rest showboating..

You would expect a high priced recruit to get more than 2 handballs in a game when the ball is down his end all day.
To showboat i imagine you would need to have the pill, when you lose by 140pts you probably havnt had enough of it.

If what you say is right then knowing Hadds he wouldn't seek re-appointment if he thought he couldn't progress from here.
Would be a really tough gig to Coach Ango this year and Hadds has shown some genuine strength of character to keep pushing and searching
for the answers...... I sure as hell wouldn't wanna be a Coach.
Our team lacks a spark at the moment, but the ones that are prepared to bust their gut for the jumper are still getting up for games.
So maybe its a character flaw on the ones that aren't getting up and about on Saturday.
I wouldn't be dropping any bombshells by saying we aren't getting our moneys worth this year, which would still be true if we were spending $100 a week right now.

The imposter they call the general may as well be sacked now, save some money.
Was he held kickless last week by Commane?
He should have handed back his money last week after serving up that crap
Anyone thinking they are getting the state country full back next year will be in for a rude shock.

In his defence, he doesn't select himself in that team so thats not his fault, still something anyone would be proud to put on the resume!

Are You suggesting you could do better than him Days? granted Commane would have had to run a lot more to get around you if you played in front of him!

Well this true Roo i could wear him out by half time

Kapunda had more out than Tanunda - just better on the day, especially in first half, then withstood charge in third quarter. Last was even. Bombers might be seen as real chance now.

Andrew Turrell, Zanandrea, Brad Williams, Fred 'Freddy Betts' Agius and Matt Holding all to come back into the Kapunda side.

Kapunda just too good on the day, Kapunda are the Sydney of the BLG, they are flying under the radar and really are a very good side.

Well done to Kapunda, and they didn't just fall in they won comfortably. Maybe only so much can be swept under the carpet and the cracks are now appearing in the tanunda camp.

Lets hope for Kapunda's sake (and the competition) they perform better in the finals than the last team to beat Tanunda and finish second!

So the interest from here is Barossa, Nuri and Willaston for 4th spot. Havent looked at their run home, but i'd suggest a fit Barossa takes this so the four may already be set?

The cracks are appearing, cmon they have lost three games in 5 years, if it is a crack then it must be microscopic. I will however predict that they will lose 2 in a row with the blockies apparently supplying the SA country side with 4 players this weekend and with 2 more injuries things are lean there this week. Pretty fair effort to supply that many players to the country squad.

Mohammad you I both know that the biggest crack that developed this season in the BLG was at the redlegs, the problem has left but the crack remains.

Also well done to Kapunda, all the talk has been on South but Kapunda are cruising along very nicely.

First time poster, long time reader.

Just thought I would give a shout out to the great job the umpires have done this year. These thick skinned blokes have the hardest gig out on the field and are doing a job 95% of the abusive crowd would not do in a life time. Good to see Robbie Polito was back in action a week or so ago too, takes country umpiring to another level.

What the F*#K, obviously we have another umpire on this site. 95% hostile, good one, they would be 95% friendly if they made the right decisions. I must say that the umpiring is not too bad in this league but 95% champ, honestly just put your cards on the table and tell us what your position is?

Seriously mate, read the post properly..."95% of the abusive crowd" not "95% of the entire crowd which is entirely abusive"...
As a clubman through and through and a former junior umpire, I'd like to see you out there umpiring A grade on any given week big fella! ;)

BL&G umps do a great job, not right 100% of the time, but remember, Tanunda did lose on the weekend, not everyone's perfect like you skip

Thanks for clarifying this Patriach and ive got nothing to do with umpiring mate. It really grinds my gears though when I hear the abuse they receive over what is just a bloody game.

Anywho, tips for this week? Fairly big round, some may say Christmas in July for the BLG aswell ;)

Skip just ignore the ignorant raves of those that would want to dethrone the Mighty Magpies.
Still big chance to knock of the Nuri Pussies this week with only half a side.
What other club would let 4 players go and play for the state side.
Look at the Zone team and I think only Tanunda and Willaston of the top 5 at the time had players in the Zone team.
How did Lawry, Musolino, McKenzie, McKinnon, Valentine, Stelzer, Aish, Commane and the lsit goes on all be not available due to injury buit then all play the next round and yet Tanunda FC supplied 7 players to the eastern Zone squad and now another 4 to the state side.
Association should give some compensation for this round to Tanunda to offset the 4 players representing SA.
Magpies still hot favourities to win flag in 2012.

Sammy.. Sammy!! What other club's supporters could snatch a moral victory from such a sound loss? At least give us the chance to crow once a year.
By the way, Paul Anderson from Kapunda played in the Zone Championships, and other Bomber players were asked at the last minute when the other "injured " players dropped out; one was actually injured and didn't play against Tanunda.
Yes, you're suffering now, but that's the price you pay for the success of the last 4 years - one naturally comes with the other.

Fair enough on a few points, you should take note that I have said they do a good job. My point is we see a new poster here trumping up the umps and I want to know where he or she is coming from, its not the first time on this site that we have seen some from the umps of the league getting on and trying to influence us.
