I believe its available to all indigeneous ex players that would like to pursue a career in coaching.

Be interesting to hear what the Willaston faithful have to say about this prospect

Days your comments are very close to racial villification of Joel and that is completely unfair.
Having been involved with Joel when he was playing elsewhere I fould him to be a great lad and he had a fantastic knowledge of the game and he will make a great coach if Willaston appointed him.
I have been told by Willaston people that Joel has been a great acquisition for the club and is held in high regard.
I also heard last night that Willaston are in strife for playing more points players on Saturday than they are allocated.
Believe the Directors are meeting to discuss appropriate penalty.
Anyone heard if they have met and what penalty did Willaston get.

Racial Vilification, you have got to be joking. He gave his opinion on what the bloke would be like as a coach and that he may receive a fat (unsubstantial) grant.
As for Willaston playing more points players on purpose to "throw the game", well i just find it hard to believe that that mob can come up with such a diabolical (and ingenious) scheme...

Would think the league could strip points off them for next season

This is the most appropriate penalty but you really think that will be Nobby's parting gift to his club.
Mick O'Brein is a different story, the word at the Brooks is he is more aligned with Gawler Centrals these days.

I believe they have lost there points from the weekend. They played an under 17 which as we all know is -1, but you must fill out a form stating the kids age and date of birth and so forth. As far as I know they failed to do so.

I agree with the majority here Sam. Racial Vilification? First look up what it means, then look at what the poster actually said. He was commenting on a fact - an AFL coaching scheme, there was no opinion about race there. The only opinion was about Joel Campbell as a player and coach.
Behave!!
Club loyalty is a hard thing to disregard sometimes, but playing that card AGAIN is disappointing. It's not the first time this year.
Also you got a lot of "hearsay" at your club, and in your comments....
"I've heard.." etc?
Give us some facts.

Spot on Norm. I know of one potential candidate keen to throw his name in the hat with the promise of bringing a squadron of impressive players with him.

The dons priority has to be no different to any other club.. keep their core group of talented locals and committed imports together.

If Irving is on the move and Campbell can do that and turnover a few with heart problems?.. Then I say give him the whistle and find an old head that is proven in reading the game and managing the sideline politics to help him out.

The changing in the guard might also be that the pig has stopped squealing in which case they should calling the shoe string specialist coach Craig 'Crab' Dawe who is known for turning B Grade players into A Grade finalists.
The writing is on the wall - learn to read and you might survive

Not in it from the start, if Tanunda had kicked straight they would of been 6 goals up at 1/4 Time.
Tanunda had far too many good players
Unfortunately when you play a good side like Tanunda you cant afford things to go wrong and today was just a nightmare.
With Trewren out and Gerardis a late withdrawal it wasnt going to be easy but when Paget and Ahern both went down early in the game the writing was on the wall. To the guys credit they hang in until the last but were eventually blown away. Not sure what happened to Kaesler but went off at half time and had an early shower.

Don't sell your boys too short here Jim, not many sides have come to magpie park for the past 5 years and done very well. I thought considering some of your injuries sustained that you boys where very admorable and never gave up. First time I have seen your side this season, they look very fit and strong, you just need a couple of more talls, speadsters are great but we just won the marking contests too easily yesterday. They seem like a good bunch of lads. I would think your coaches meassage yesterday after the game was "you have seen the bench mark and learn from them", which I'm pretty sure they would have.
