By 'solid' do you mean Adam Turrell?
I sense you're being facetious, Extractor, but yes.

City clubs seem to be a bad rep for promising pay and not paying.

City clubs seem to be a bad rep for promising pay and not paying.
If Molyenu is back the Gawler Tigers must be growing something at the dog track to afford all there payments next year.
Seems incredible that a club that for years has not been a big payer has lashed out thousands and thousands on players for next year.
Hope it works as it needs to be sustainable or it will bring long term pain.
With what they had last year they would only be a maybe top 4 team and would not get close to the Maggies or Barossa.

Losing 3 zero point players hurts any club and they where good solid contributers last year and will be hard to replace.
Am told there could still be several other players on move that are upset on way club moved Browny on and replaced him with Buckets.
Nothing against Buckets but certain people sticky nose ion where it does not belong again.
Also heard that a key Freeling player is on the move after a bust with a partner. Not sure of name at this stage.

What about country clubs(and I can name one) who paid excessive money to 3 or 4 recruits up until mid July last season, worked out they wouldn't make finals then chopped their payments back to half. Nice operation to get involved with!

Sambo, it’s about time we nip this one in the bud before it gets out of hand.
When making comparisons within the BL&G, please use the Doggies as your yard stick.
Otherwise I will refer you to the same therapist Swooper is successfully seeing!

Osma luv ya work on the forum but don't confuse yourself the Maggies are still the team to beat in 2013.No real exodus of players as some idiots are saying and likely to get Kennedy and Westhooff back the other Westhoff is like a new recruit after recovering from ankle injury obtained in that crap Country Champs bullshit and we have signed a good player with the only 3 points we are given under the points system.Barossa may lose Aish and that makes us in the red already to take the cup back that we loaned to Barossa last year. Can someone tell me what is all the hype about this Hynes lad from CDFC.Seems every club in country footy is trying to sign him up on big dollars and he is just a player and not worth the big bucks I am hearing he is being offered.Saw him play in the GF of the SANFL reserves and would not be a dominate player in the BLG.We are in big trouble in country footy if this type of players is getting $800 plus a game.

Has this appointment been confirmed?
If so why would it take so long as he was involved last year with Tylor.
Hope they have signed some players or it could be a long year for the Redlegs.
Has Schubert and Clinton re-signed with the club?

They would want to hope he hasn't picked up any of his bad habits.

Heard he's looking at playing with one of his mates at Victor Harbor. Good offer and considering he'll be paying for a wedding soon he'd be silly not to take it
