No one said that wasnt the case Cowmuncher - i think Fisty was saying that he could play higher in SAAFL quite easily. I know for a fact his phone was running hot pre-season. He was playing D3 for Portland in 2005, would have played more for Port U19's last year if not for injury.
My personal view is that Hood is cleaner with his skills, but Birdy is harder and stronger at the contest, not say to Hood isnt hard. I think Bird is the more complete package.

bird was playing under 19's at port when he was 16-17
then did his knee and had a year off
has the ability to play higher
but all of his friends are at portland!!!!

Well Ive heard differently that Bird was told he was not a required player for Port U/19's..

Im not sure specificly as to why he left crowmuncher
that could quite well have been the case!!!!
I still think he could definately cut it at that level though!!!
would slide into the reserves in my opinion!!
get on board the thunder train!!!

Boys just tappin in for first time. Having seen Div 4 Footy from afar for a while seems this year is most even for a long time. Previous years there have been some standouts and some easy wins this year there seems a genuine eveness, particularly amongst top 4 or 5....

We need some educated football comments on here PITB, instead of Fisty's brainless banter and Micky's obsure comments.

Para Hills are nowhere near unbeatable, we were up on them at 3/4 time, and we were going with the breeze in the last quarter, ended up with 17 players and gave away a couple of stupid free kicks close to goal and that was it. They will lose a game in the second half of the year, if not 2 or 3.

Right on the money Pag. Easily

Injuries are definately testing our depth, thats for sure. From our B grade team that beat Mitcham a few weeks back, we have lost 15 blokes, most of them promoted.

Not the best week to get Para Hills then Felch.

Are the B's a chance to get back on the winners list this
week?
