McCabe for HB will be a worry for TW, Mallala et al come finals. Couple of goals early and then goes to the middle. Spent most of his time up forward. Did a lot of of impressive stuff off ball also. Pym BOG I reckon - maybe firming as medallist.

McCabe's experience is invaluable. When McCabe talks, everyone listens.. Unlike Heberle. When he talks no one listens.
As for Mail Medal prediction, I'd say its between Joel Montgomerie, Ned Seccafien and Craig Taylor. We've had a lot of contributors this year, so could be a lot of vote pinching with Ryan Appleton my smoky.

Barnett would be in that heberle category too, both love talking out their backsides . Taylor no chance has had a very average month

SC. TW over Mallala (might have to bring in the Fair Play rule for this one)

Any reason why everyone seems to have written off Hamley? I can't see why they wouldn't one of the favourites to win the flag. Their team oozes talent and confidence, and they have plenty of experience which is critical for winning the big games when it counts, and they have shown that they can beat anyone on thier day. Correct me if I'm wrong but they've beaten everyone, except Mallala quite comfortably. Mallala have played them at good times this season. Rd2 was HBs first game and they were clearly rusty as most teams are in the first game of the year; and the last time the teams met the game was played in 2 inches of water and pies only just won. There is no doubt the bombers are a serious contender. Write them off at your own peril.

I would not be writing any of the top 4 off. Football is a funny game . Its who ever comes to play on the day

I'm yet to be convinced that the hired component will step up a gear when things get hot. We'll have to wait and see. Say though, if HB drops the first final, the pressure at the Prelim might be too much against either TW or Mallala.

Joel Montgomery to go back to back I think. I agree about the vote pinching.
Taylor and Thach to poll very well in the first half of the year then Appleton and Zanandrea to get the votes in the middle section. 3 big games from any of the 4 mentioned and they could be a chance. Safe tip is J.Montgomery

For Earl well he hasn't really put a foot wrong this year, probably his best year of footy that I've seen and I think it's gonna be his year to take the bacon!
