Re: ATCA 2013/14.
Penfield CC seeking opposition for a trial game on October the 5th, to be played at Argana Park, unless you would like to host. Preferably the opposition would have both A and B grades so we can get both of our teams a game, and the games to be played in the 20/20 format

What is going on at Kilburn? Have I heard correctly from the man himself Kyle Parks that he is the new captain??
Pooraka only 3 away games, so far just A1-A3 fixtures are up
Did they get the AFL to program the draw
Don't get your knickers in a knot chief as I am sure draw will change as they have double booked Lindblom park in round 8 with both A and b grade booked in to play at home.

The B's are scheduled for #2 oval. Can't remember another time the A's and B's have both played at home.
Could be a good round for a past players day!

From what I saw yesterday, Marion have picked up a very good spinner from interstate and were very quick to sign him up.

What odds on a wet pitch your first home game?

Re: ATCA 2013/14.
The B&LCA would like to add another team to the competition to bring us to an even 16 clubs across the association.
The ultimate aim would be to have 8 first eleven clubs in each of the A1 and A1 Reserves comp.
There is promotion and relegation between the two grades.
A club within an hours travelling distance would be suitable.
The association is one of the few that is increasing in size and participation in country SA. This season will see 45 senior teams and 47 junior teams participate.
There is 4 grades of mixed 2 day and one day cricket and 2 grades of an excluseively one day comp.
Juniors are catered for at U10, U12, U14 and U16 level.
If any clubs are interested please PM me.
Any interest will be handled confidentially

Modbury wont be playing at Modbury Oval this year due to the council starting Drainage work early Novemeber and as o understand it they are levelling and re-laying the square - short term pain long term gain!

Ah so that's the reason we (Penfield) have been scheduled round 1 @ Banksia Park High School, I hope more work goes into that oval this year as it wasn't fantastic last time we played there. But its the same for both teams I guess

I would say so mate, I think its either Banksia Park High or Modbury High. Both have pro's and cons thats for sure. TTG used to play their U16s at Banksia High back in the day and it used to be a nightmare

Will be garbage as in the past. No disrespect.
Throw in the sprinklers coming on during school holidays on Friday nights.
Will be plenty of issues no doubt.
Good luck.

Re: ATCA 2013/14.
With the season not all that far away, who are players to watch throughout the divisions this year. Anyone with any predictions?
