Perfectly well and I dont think they will go for it. Nev looks more than happy to play it out.
Perhaps they will tee off later but I doubt it

So you obviously believe the only way to chase the runs is by throwing the game away by trying to get the runs in 10 overs?

Not at all.
Im down at the game and there seems a distinct lack of urgency.
There are plenty of singles out there that havnt been taken and both batters look happy just to play it out.
Maybe ill be proven wrong and they will tee off near the end if they still have wickets in hand.

Sleepy
Jimmy
I will be the 3rd Ump

I dont think either of you are wrong
The circumstances could be the dictating factor
QL had to chase the 470 as were miles behind in the ladder , when beating SA

Right now the ladder is
NS 26
SA 26
WA 26
QL 22
I'm not sure about who has the best run rate of the teams on 26

SA + NS have the added pressure that conceding points to each NOW will hurt them ?

If SA win we are guaranteed to play in the final. NSW could win today and still miss out.

Run rates after the first 8 games were
1.1853 WA
1.1653 SA
1.0672 NS

WA run rate would have taken a BIG fall after getting smashed by QL
So it looks like if the SA/NS 'Peters' out to a 2 point game it prob helps SA more than NS as would be in top spot?

Nevill is really the important wicket, knock him over and exploit the weaknesses of the rest.
NSW will just try to accumulate runs without losing wickets and then go for it in the last 10 overs.
SA need to bowl as tight as possible to up the run rate required and hopefully the wickets come.
Whilst I write this Copeland is out.
For every one I miss I am closer to a hole in one.
