Seeing Norwood's 'close, but no cigar' quarter by quarter scores in the U/19s against Sturt last weekend (1.2, 3.3, 4.4, 5.5), makes me wonder: has any team ever produced the perfect game of a quarter time score of 1.1, 2.2 at half-time, 3.3 at lemon time and 4.4 at the final siren? Spelly- weave your magic.
PS Not really a question as I don't know how you'd define the record, but more of an observation: Norwood's U/19s (who have lost every game) have an amazing ability to make their results deviate only very slightly from the mean of a 10 goal loss. This year, they've had losses by 65, 54, 54, 61, 60, 76, 55 and 78. Their only 2 results that bucked the trend were both 29 point losses.
