Judging from the reaction here I must be mistaken. I was of the understanding that you last won a final in 2008 and that that win gives you a 1-8 record over that period.

We won the qualifying final last year.

What is happening at Glenelg money wise??

Hear that they are unable to purchase goodie for the Gala Auction on Saturday night..They are using bartercard as they cannot pay suppliers.. embarrassed to approach sponsors??

Nice troll, there's been a massive financial turnaround this year but go ahead and keep posting crap.

No trolling mate.. just fact..Very embarrassing when club travels to far northern suburbs to obtain goodies for Saturday night, ignoring local sponsor/supplier.... Then Northern Business has to get goodies from sponsor.. Sponsor says what is this for supplier says Glenelg but the buggers are using Barter card as they cannot pay for it..

If that is the sign of a club kicking financial goals I will go he!!!!

Hope it is better than last year when they could not afford to pay for trophies.. Mate if they cannot spend money with sponsors and have to use bartercard rather than cash i reckon they are in the shit.

Same as another Southern club that cannot pay its creditors. Very poor financial management in the SANFL ??

Thanks for confirming you have no idea.

I'm a sponsor, I don't expect charity from the club.

The reason you sponsor is to normally get something in return, not just the warm and fuzzy feeling of giving money away for nothing. End result is one less sponsor for next season. If you sponsor I hope you have a warm fuzzy feeling.

Numerous people sponsor the club because they love the club - not to make coin.
They may also be in a position to give back to a club that has given them so much.

His business is accepting beer from other supporters. Come and make yourself known tomorrow, support him (and his mates) with beer for no return. :)
