Would that have something to do with footy at Adelaide oval and parking etc.?

i wondered why too

# firstly its henley d-grade

from my observations, i would guess the whole thing come about because TTG cgrade can play at home at 12:15 behind the ttg Agrade game

because our bgrade & pt districts were suppose to go to TTG 12:15, but im guessing ttg requested their cgrade stay at home

and Henley Bs & pt districts Bs can stay local, & as a result henley D's being the top side get their home game 12:15, and then our B's at 2:15

so in short i bet TTG requested their Div 8 C-Grade play at home 12:15 before their Div 1 Agrade 2;15

and henley/ptdistrict Div1R have to play elsewhere

------------------------------------

in turn Henleys D-Grade (meant to be at Uni Oval 12:15) have instead been placed at home, 12:15, before the Henley B-Grade 2:15

i dont know if the Uni vs North Pines div 7 game 2:15, will have a reserves game before it now at 12:15??

I don't really care where the games are played, just high lighting that there is less incentive for a B grade grade side to finish high on the ladder compared to an A or C grade side.

At least BOS is only around the corner and not halfway across the state

They finished third so are well within their rights to host this final...I would have thought the D7R game would be held there as well

Have no problem with our B's being away. West Croydon have earnt that right. Our problem is with having to run a triple header at home and a B grade game away. This is a volunteer problem and nothing to do with who won what and who finished where. And Arch I am not having a winge, but as football director unfortunately it is my job to get everything in place for our 3 teams on the weekend. Hopefully the powers that be are a bit more understanding than the people on here.
And as you are all pointing out about WC having the right to have their B grade and A grade together, Rosewater don't have that right as I believe we finished 3rd and they were 4th.
Success is not final; failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that counts....

i can personally feel your pain

at end of the day it WC who won last week, so the privilege firstly goes to them

essentially its a coincidence rosewater reserves get to play before their A's at your home ground - luck of the draw

and again having your cgrade at home in the earlier game is also a lucky coincidence, and a bonus for your club. imagine if they too would be playing elsewhere too

at end of day, blame your agrade for failing last week, and for all the extra additional efforts your volunteers are gonna have to put up with this week, i think your agrade owe these great helpers a victory :)

Lockleys v Rosewater in both B and C grades, either play both at Rosewater or Lockleys or a neutral venue.

err but rosewater agrade just won a FINAL last week, they have earnt a privilege to have their reserves follow their As

old farmer is upset because his volunteers have to be at two places. im sure he'll love the revenue, rosewaters reserves bring to your cash registers, wouldnt u think?

It's not the fact we need volunteers in two venues - we did it on the weekend. It's the fact we need to setup for a triple header early, look after the C grade, send volunteers to the B grade then have them back again for the A grade.

Revenue is good of course, but given how hard to come by volunteers are, it's a fair load to ask them to manage, and it stretches them thin. We were fortunate on the weekend out C grade players took on a lot of roles

so

rosewater Bs (theyre top side) - they play lockleys Bs - currently at ingle farm

rosewater Cs (won elim last week) - they play lockleys C's (who lost a qualifying final) @ lockleys

so to me rosewater should get an option to play their Bs, Cs at home.
(although this disadvantages lockleys C's who have the right be at home)

do rosewater wanna pay for a final or just keep their B's with their Agrade as per usual

What were peoples thoughts on the umpires on the weekend? The two that did the reserves game at Lockleys I thought were very good, and infact thought they were much better than the two who did the A grade game at West Croydon.

So had IF won in the B grade qualifying final and get a home final against Rosewater in the B grade who finished top would this be an issue?

The way its ended up, one of the sides had to be split up, it happens every year

Wow.. dude.. SERIOUSLY!! ARE YOU THAT THICK!?!?!?!

Go back, read the posts, UNDERSTAND.. Ingle Farm DO NOT CARE that their B grade are playing at West Croydon and split from the A grade!

The issue is we don't want to host the other game.

**** me is it really that difficult to comprehend!?!?
