No doubt a hard job to do and you are never going to always please everyone...

I think Peter Argent has done a pretty good job there. I'd only probably question Nathan Krakouer...

Seems a pretty good team to me. Maybe Tim Webber from the Redlegs could have slipped in.

Yeah, I noticed that. Peter Argent must have been on AFL mode.

For some reason, SANFL Team of the Year's always seem to name 4 on the bench.

The "real" state team plays with 4 on the bench.

It's not really a state team though, it's a 'team of the year'.

First time in the 53 occasions since this trophy was first awarded in 1962 that the winner didn't play league finals.

Congratulations to North Adelaide, history makers 2014.

And now the first time that the winner had none of its grades reach the Grand Final.

The 11th occasion no grade won the flag in that season.

Don't think we even won a final in any grade. Is that a first for the Stanley winner?

No doubt we will build on this year's mediocrity with even more years of mediocrity.

At least we're good at something.
It could be worse. We could be mediocre at being mediocre.
