A bit more to it than that. The compo pick is based on the players age and his contract the new club. Not sure of the amounts, but I think if Frawleys contract is $600k then Melbourne will get pick 3 as compo. If his contract is under that Melbourne will get a compo pick which will be after their 2nd round one
