I need to know why you still use coins to pay for things.

Parking, macca's drive through is about it. But I really hate coins. Would rather use credit card for almost all purchases, especially now payWave makes it easier

As a rule I don't tend to use it for that very reason - so if someone steals my card, it'll look sus when they start making lots of paywave transactions.

I can suspend my card instantly via an app.

Credit card transactions due to fraud are protected, you will get your money back.
multiple sub $100 transactions are much less concerning then one big transaction if you don't protect your pin.
Also, how does you not using pay wave make your card any more secure? The pay wave terminals are still there...
Lastly as someone has already mentioned, commonwealth bank allow you to temporarily or permanently disable your card from their app.
