Hey DOC i heard we copped a number of injuries, Jake Viede didn't look good, any idea if any any major concerns. I hate trial games, 2 is more than enough.

You have heard right.

Jake Veide got flipped a in a high tackle that saw him land on his head on the stroke of half time and took no further part. Ambulance to the ground . HE did walk off with the doctor so it may be precautionary. He did not look good. Fingers crossed. Joel Cross rolled the left ankle in the first and played no further part. Nick Murphy injured in the second and took no further part. Adam Guilden rolled an ankle in the last. Looked serious.

We had to get two who had played reserves , Adam Dale and Harvey Nicholls plus Jackson McMahon who was not going to play to suit up during the course of the game.

Lewis Makepeace who did his knee in his debut last year will also not play this year.

No, Veide was going for an overhead mark and the North defender, while attempting to spoil, pulled down on his shoulder, causing his legs to swing up to what you see above. He came down with an almighty thump to his neck (see video still below).
