Chris Rogers will join Pup in retirement after the 5th Test. He did pretty well did Rogers, plugged away in the Shield and County scene for years and was eventually rewarded with a couple of England tours and 25 Tests at an average over 40. Perhaps more of the next generation of batsmen will go back for multiple English summers to develop an all round game like Rogers did.

I would of picked Siddle for more control and consistency but because it's a dead rubber they obviously want to give Cummins another crack as much as they can. Will be interesting to see if his body can get through the test match injury free.

With Johnson, Starc and Cummins in the side I expect England to be rolled for f**k all or score very quickly with an accelerated run rate. Most likely it will be the latter.

Siddle is finished at test level. Cummins is a quality cricketer and here's hoping he's in the side and bowls lightening.
