We've played our last three Test innings like the decks were uncovered.

Chris Rogers will join Pup in retirement after the 5th Test. He did pretty well did Rogers, plugged away in the Shield and County scene for years and was eventually rewarded with a couple of England tours and 25 Tests at an average over 40. Perhaps more of the next generation of batsmen will go back for multiple English summers to develop an all round game like Rogers did.

Liked his light hearted bake of Dave Warner in his interview on Focks this morning as well ha ha.

REB

"Rogers confirms retirement" video :

"(Warner) told me the other day he's the funniest bloke in the side. I nearly choked on my muesli"

"I won't miss his banter, it's pretty average"

Warner, who was obviously schooled in the Shane Warne University of Comedy and Self Awareness, said in his presser following his appointment as VC that every team has a funny guy and he might have to moderate that a bit.
I giggled when I heard him say it. Seems Rogers did too.

I would of picked Siddle for more control and consistency but because it's a dead rubber they obviously want to give Cummins another crack as much as they can. Will be interesting to see if his body can get through the test match injury free.

With Johnson, Starc and Cummins in the side I expect England to be rolled for f**k all or score very quickly with an accelerated run rate. Most likely it will be the latter.

As much as I hate Australia I got $2.65 for Australia last night, That's just to good to pass up. I've got 5 multis going and all of them juicy with the 1st bet being the Aussies at $2.65. I've noticed there already in to $2.50.

I just need the f**mwits to win. Surely for Clarkey and Buck they'll lift? The coin toss sounds very important.

Siddle is finished at test level. Cummins is a quality cricketer and here's hoping he's in the side and bowls lightening.

Enjoy the ashes celebrations with bruised and battered bodies England.

Hope Siddle doesn't play, I don't think there much gained by giving him a game
